After picking up lunch at a diner, we continue on our journey ahead and with that, I soon drifted off to a peaceful sleep for the first time in 7 months.

The sun felt warm on the other side of the bed so I rolled over to the empty side. My eyes are still heavy but my mind is eager to wake up.

"Wakey Wakey..." a lovely raspy voice cooed in my ears. I growl, my eyes could barely open. "I am going to throw you off the bed and roll you downstairs, missy, don’t growl on me." he said as I can feel his rough fingers brushing off the messy hairs off my face.

"Noooooo...."

"But Aunt Rosy asked me to wake you up. They're going to get groceries for later."

"I don’t want to go."

"Okay, Bev." he said, pecking a wet kiss on my hand before letting me enjoy the day off in the guest bedroom.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" A loud scream echoed outside the door. I open the door and started to yell his name out over and over again. Blood.. blood... there’s blood everywhere! I bent down on both knees and shake his lifeless body violently. My clothing is soaked in blood and my eyes blurred by the steaming salty tears that is coming out of it.

"Wake up! Don’t leave me!"
My eardrums deafen by the sound of a sharp screeching sound.

"Beverly! Beverly!" a voice called and I can feel myself flailing around until I am able to have a good grip of the strong arms holding me down. I opened my eyes and stare at Josh, hyperventilating.

"Beverly, its okay, it was just a dream."

"Im so sorry, Josh."

"Its okay. Are you okay?"

"Im... fine."

"Okay good. Uh, Allison's mother is on the phone, she kind of wants to speak to you?"

"Hello?"

"Hello, Beverly, isn’t it? Are you alright? I hope everything's okay."

"Im so sorry, I just had a nightmare."

"Aww, there, there, sweetheart. Anyways, Josh told me about his 'Superman' gag, why don’t you come over as well? My daughter, Allison would like to meet you." A sweet accent like Dean's spoke in the other line.

"Oh my, it’s a pleasure, we'll be right there."

"Are you sure you would come with me?"

"Yeah, sure." I nodded.
"Thanks, I still don’t get why they want to see you but, yeaa...”

We exited the car and walk towards the main entrance of the hospital. The glass door slides to let us in. I remember the last time I was in the hospital was the day Dean died. The day a part of me died. The smell of medicines, sanitizers and sterilized tools scares me but I tried not to show it. Then we enter the elevator with Allison's soup in my hand.

She lays there on the bed, needles sticking into her veins and her head is wrapped in a patterned scarf. Her hair had fallen off, probably due to the chemotherapy she received but yet, she manages to smile.

"Hello, you must be Beverly." a tall brunette woman of her 40s embraces me in a hug. "Yap, here's Ms. Allison's soup." I handed to her and turned to Josh's girlfriend. "Hi." I smiled back, shaking her cold, weak hand. "That necklace..." she said in a low tone voice before her mother cuts her off, asking her to eat. Josh gave her a peck on the forehead before leaving.

"You're so sweet with girls." I compliment him after we sat down on a table at a diner. "What can I say?"
