Dean's funeral service was held beautifully although the world, for me isn't beautiful anymore without Dean's presence. After the funeral, Mr. Derek, Dean's father, came by and gave me a few words of encouragement and handed me an envelope. "Won't you come by at the house later, there are a few things of Dean's I know he would love you to have." I open a plain envelope and pull out a scrambled letter. It reads:

"Bev, I have never explained to you about my feelings. But here's a thing, I LOVE YOU. I love you from the moon and back and if I could, I'll give the moon to you by pulling it down to earth. When gravity defines your limit, love proves that theory is nothing but a theory. I love you till it hurts, imagine loving someone who's hurting, how much pain can a person endure just to love someone. Im sounding poetic and I think that's how to love, love is English Literature. I hope you'd still pursue your dream. I asked you to prom the other day and when you said yes, I felt like I was the luckiest man on earth. They have asked me to perform something a week ago and so I agreed only because I wanted to dedicate a song I wrote to you. -weirdo"

I came by Dean's house the day he was buried and his father handed me a box of Dean's stuffs which include his leather coat. "And this." Mr. Derek handed me a necklace. "I washed it because this was the necklace he brought along on the night of the accident, there was... blood stains." I shed 2 drops of tears before putting a sad smile to Mr. Derek and hugged him real tight.
