Chapter 3 ~ Them

Kai's POV

We all went back home for the night, but agreed to come back to the bounty tomorrow.

I tried to fall asleep, but I couldn't. All I could think about was the obsidian warrior.

"You're dead."

The words kept appearing in my mind over and over again.

By time I looked up at the clock it was already morning. Four in the morning to be exact. I sighed and tried to fall asleep for an hour or so, but that didn't happen of course. After about five minutes of slumber Nya came to wake me up. I yawned and gathered myself and headed out to the bounty alongside Nya.

We finally arrived at the Bounty and I collapsed before it sighing in relief.

"Come on! Did you get any sleep last night?" She asked.

"No of course I did! That why I'm so energized!" I said sarcastically.

Nya just rolled her eyes and climbed on to the bounty. I moaned while getting on to my feet again. I didn't feel like walking, I didn't feel like doing anything. I eventually manage to throw myself aboard Destiny's Bounty and head to the lower deck.

I stand in silence as everyone stares at me walking through the door. My stomach feels like it's twisted in knots and I knew something wasn't right. Being the last one to arrive, I was completely oblivious to what was going on.

"You're late," Sensei Wu says.

"Sorry Sensei," I say sheepishly eying Zane who had goggles on and was using his falcon vision to spy on the obsidian warriors.

"Has Zane spotted anything?" I ask looking at the screen showing what the falcon was seeing.

"If you were here earlier you would know! But yes he has seen some obsidian warriors!" Jay yelled.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," I say rolling my eyes.

"You little-" Jay says stomping towards me getting ready to suck a punch right in my face.

"Stop!" Cole and Lloyd yelled as we froze and looked at the screen. The falcon had spotted three obsidian warriors talking over a plan.

We enhanced the audio to hear what they were saying better.

"There powerful general, but if we can turn one of them to are side we may be able to take over." "That may work with the new weapon."

Who were they referring to when they said "them"? I stood in confusion as we started losing the signal of the falcon.

"Ninja, we're going to head to the dark island. That's were they are." Sensei Wu said with his grey eyes flashing with concern.

We nodded are heads knowing that this was bigger then all of us. And I had a feeling that when they said "them" they were referring to us.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a while and sorry that this is so short. I've been busy and had writers block so, yeah.

I would appreciate if some of you could give me feedback or ideas on what should happen next because it would help a lot! Bye for now!
