Cole's POV
We all decided to just sleep at the bounty and leave at dawn for the dark island. We all couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about what the obsidian warriors were discussing. "...but if we can turn one of them to are side we may be able to take over." The words kept buzzing around my head like a bunch of angry bees that wouldn't go away. What if "them" is us? What if they turn one of us to their side? The questions clouded my train of thought and I soon managed to shut my eyelids and escape reality for a short while.
I woke of to a world of nothingness. All that surrounded me was the never ending white world.
"Where am I?" I called out. No response.
"Is anywhere here?!" I yelled soon realizing that my questions were pointless for no one responded.
"Are you one of them?" A faint voice called out from the distance.
"Who are you?" I called out looking to see if anyone was in sight.
"I'm destiny," the voice replied.
"What do you want?" I asked with unease.
"You are one of them. You or one of them must kill." The voice echoed through my ears.
"Kill what? Kill who?" I asked staring blankly off into the distance.
"You must kill the-"
"COLE! Wake up! I'm not going to put up the sails by myself!" Jay screamed waking me from my dream.
" Ok,OK!" I said dragging myself out of bed and onto the upper deck.
Jay and I put up the sails and we set off for the dark island. All through morning training I couldn't stop thinking about the dream. Was that a vision? Who do I or we have to kill? Was that actually destiny? All these thoughts clouded my mind and I soon dozed off into some daydream.
"Cole? Cole? COLE!" Kai screamed making me fall out of my daydream and bringing me back to reality.
"Are you ok? It looks like you haven't slept." Zane said as Jay and Lloyd came over to see what was going on,
"Nah, I'm fine, I'm fine," I said heading turning away from them and shuffling down to the lower deck.
"We know your lying," Lloyd called out causing me to stop and turn around.
There was a moment of silence where we just stared at each other blankly seeing who would say something next. After about five minutes which seemed like forever I finally came clean.
I told them all about the dream and how I was speaking to "destiny" and how I or one of us had to kill someone or something. The rest of the four stood their silent. Not knowing what to say. We finally came to an agreement and said if anyone else had strange dreams involving "destiny" and all that, that we would tell each other. And if it became serious, then we would tell Sensei Wu.
Jay's POV
When the sun fell we headed straight to bed, anxious to see if anyone of us would have a strange dream. We all agreed to go to sleep early, but I didn't sense I had to finish the last level of dragon flyers and defeat the boss. I finally finished the level at midnight and decided to go to bed. It was hard sleeping that night sense all I had been staring at earlier was a bright screen that just drained all your energy. Finally my heavy eyelids started to shut and I drifted off into a deep sleep.
I awoke to thousands upon thousands of obsidian warriors surrounding me from all angles.
"Kill him! He's one of them!" Someone called out. But the voice sounded like someone I knew.
I soon heard a roar of screams and the whole army of obsidian warriors charging at me with their spears held high, ready to impale me with one throw.
I covered my eyes in fear as I knew it was the end of me.
"Are you one of them?" A faint voice called out from a distance.
I raised my head up to see that I was surrounded by white. I then saw Cole off in the distance staring aimlessly around.
"I must be in Cole's dream," I thought to myself.
"Cole!" I yelled running towards him.
I jumped onto him, but instead I went straight through him. I knew he was a ghost in all, but I then stood up right in front of him and he didn't even notice me.
I watched the conversation unfold until destiny said, "You or one of them must kill the person with the element of-"
"Rise in shine boys!" Nya yelled from outside the room.
"Come on NYA!" I groaned, angry at her for waking me up and breaking into the dream.
Nya casually walked off and headed to the upper deck.
"Did anyone have a dream?" Lloyd asked from his bed.
"I did," I replied hesitantly as everyone's faces turned to meet mine.
I told them about how the obsidian warriors attacked me, how I went into Cole's dream, and how the person that one of us had to kill was a person with an element.
•••
The next morning. Lloyd said he had the exact same dream as I did except he saw me in my dream and Cole and I in Cole's dream.Zane's POV
We all went to sleep last night anxious to see the full vision. I soon shut down and fell down into a deep sleep.
I awoke to a battle field. The obsidian warriors were fighting five ninja which is assumed was us, but my vision was blurry.
"Kill them all! Make sure no one comes out alive!" Someone yelled. It didn't sound like an obsidian warrior yelling though.
I suddenly saw a sword come at me and I quickly dodged it before the blade sliced me to pieces.
"There no use, we've taken everything you have! Now it's time to take you!" The obsidian warrior hissed raising his sword.
I covered my eyes with my arm hoping that I would wake up. But I soon found myself in Jay's dream. I then got to Cole's dream where Cole, Jay, and Lloyd were standing there looking around aimlessly.
I ran over, only to find out that they were just illusions.
I then heard destiny speak.
"You or one of them must kill the person with the element of fire."
I froze. Stiffness overflowed my body. I couldn't move.
I knew right then and there that destiny was saying that we had to kill the element of fire. Kai. Destiny is telling us to kill Kai.
