Chapter 2 ~ The Warriors

Lloyd's POV

I sprinted down the streets into an alley way to try to avoid the attention I was getting. I put my green hood over my head and looked at the ground as I quickly walked out of the city streets. I suddenly felt a vibration from my pocket. I reached for my phone. Kai was trying to call me. "Hello?"

"Lloyd? Lloyd is that you?"

"Yah why?"

"Call all the others and tell them to meet me at Destiny's Bounty," Kai said breathing heavily.

"Kai, what's wrong?"

"No time to explain, just meet me there at five ok!" Kai shouted as he hung up.

I knew something was wrong. I immediately called the others to meet at Destiny's Bounty. But when we arrived Kai wasn't there.

"Um, why are we here Lloyd?" Cole asked.

"Yah, you messed up my date with NYA!" Jay shouted slamming his fists on the table.

"I don't know! Kai wanted us all to meet here!" I screamed over all the commotion.

"Then where is he?!" Jay yelled back!

Then we all heard the door swing open.

"Does that answer your question?" Zane said as Jay rolled his eyes.

Kai looked up at us. Kai was holding his arm that had a bandage wrapped around it, but the bandage was completely red. He looked tired and exhausted and his face was very pale.

"Kai what happened?" Nya said as she ran over to Kai and looked at his arm.

Kai then explained everything. The noise, the figure he saw, the cut.

"Sensei Wu, do you know what it was?" Zane asked as we waited for an answer.

"The Obsidian Warriors. Created before the Stone Army by the OverLord. They were the most powerful army of warriors ever to step into Ninjago. They could hypnotize you, had lots of strength, quick, accurate, and the best fighters of Ninjago. But they were banished to the Curse Realm long ago. I don't know how they got here." Wu said as we stood there in silence.

"Do you know what they want?" I asked.

"No," he replied.

Then I noticed Kai. He was staring out the window and looked like he had seen a ghost.

"Kai, you ok?" I asked waving my hand in front of him. He didn't flinch.

I then looked over to where he was looking.

"Is that one of them?!" Jay exclaimed as a figure was standing outside the window staring right at us.

He looked just like how Kai described. Once we all saw him he ran off into the distance. Kai finally snapped out an shook his head.

"Kai did the obsidian warrior ever say anything to you?" I asked as I saw the fear building up in him.

"He said... He said... Your dead."
