Lloyds's POV

Ever sense  Zane had been taken a week ago, we hadn't seen a single warrior anywhere.

"Ok, let's split up. Lloyd, you go North, Jay South, Nya East, and I'll do West." Cole said.

We nodded and split up and ran into the deep forest.

---

It had been 6 hours and we had found nothing. We all scoped out every inch of the island and had found nothing. We met back up in the middle of the island where we had started.

"Anything?" Jay asked.

"Nope," we all replied.

"This is hopeless, were never gonna find Zane!" Jay shouted. "Let's just head back for now."

We gave in and started heading back to the bounty that was now docked on the shore. As we walked back I smelt something, burning. But I just ignored it until I could see smoke in the distance. We were on the shore now about to get on the bounty when I noticed the smoke coming from in the forest not far away. I started running towards it.

"Lloyd where are you going!?" Jay screamed.

I ignored him and sprinted around the trees as the smell of ash grew closer. I kept sprinting not realizing Nya had pulled up an ran beside me as Cole, Jay, Sensei Wu, and Misako ran close behind. Once we reached the source of the smoke we stood there confused.

"It's coming from underground?" Cole said looking into a small hole we had found.

"I guess so. Nya put it out."

"You got it," Nya replied using her water powers to put out the fire.

It took a lot longer than expected, but soon the hole was filled to the brim and anything underneath it was completely submerged in water.

"How did that fire start anyway?" Nya exclaimed.

"I don't know," Cole said.

As they talked I had stopped paying attention and just started looking around. Thats when I saw something out in the ocean. Sailing away.

"No," I said running to shore as five giant boats filled with Obsidian Warriors were heading to Ninjago. One of those boats was the Bounty.

I could see Kai on the bounty looking in our direction. He smirked and waved with an evil grin and sailed off.

We all stood their, helpless. Not even Sensei or my mom (Misako) had anything to say. We just watched the boats sail off.

"What are we going to do?" Nya whispered breaking the silence.

"I'm not sure... we can only hope," Sensei replied. Even he had given up.

I turned around to the forest not baring to look into the horizon again. I scanned the forest to try to find anything. That's when I saw something. Deep in the forest. A little ways back then we were before. Whatever it was the sun was reflecting off of the shiny.. silver.. no.. titanium.. wait. Zane.

I ran. I ran like there was no dam tomorrow. I pushed away endless leaves and dodged trees as I got closer. And closer. And closer. I was out of breath, but I was there. I kneeled down over him. He laid flat on his back with his legs and arms spread out, and his power source was visible since someone had opened it up.

"Zane," I whispered nudging him.

He didn't respond. He had shut down. He would have to be re-powered. I heard the others running over as I sat there helpless. They circled around him as I stood up and backed away. Nya pushed me to side and ran over to see what happened.

"His power source is almost completely fried. If we don't fix it he'll never come back." Nya said.

That was it. I couldn't stay. I just couldn't, I turned and ran back to the shore as my eyes began to leak with anger. It wasn't fair! First Kai, now Zane. They took everything! They took my brothers, they took the bounty are home, now their going to take Ninjago. I ran across the heated sand, my fists clenched as I dug my nails into my palms making them bleed. My knees buckled at the waters edge as I fell to my knees and just screamed. I screamed until I couldn't scream anymore. I dug my face into my hands, trying to hide away from this cruel reality. I was so caught up in crying, I didn't realize Cole and Jay standing behind me as the others stood further back.

"Lloyd-"

"WHAT?!" I snapped at Cole as the salt from my tears reach my mouth.

"Lloyd, Listen to me! Everything will be fine-"

"Oh sure, sure, everything is just sunshine and rainbows!"

"Lloyd, Stop it!" Jay yelled in the most coldest tone ever.

"Stop what? Pointing out the obvious! The bounty's gone, Kai's gone, Zane's gone, Ninjago's gone, and were stuck here on this forsaken piece of crap Island! AND YOU WANT TO TELL ME THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK?!"

"ENOUGH!" Sensei Wu commanded, stepping in between Cole, Jay, and I.

I backed away as I was shot the most evilest looks. What was I doing?

"Lloyd-"

I turned and ran off. I summoned my elemental dragon and flew off as raindrops from my eyes fell behind me. I couldn't keep my dragon from vanishing for long per usual and I stumbled and fell onto the steps of the Temple of Light.

I crawled up the steps as the cold wind blew not making a sound. I laid on my back staring up into the bell that I had rung so long ago that started it all. All of this. All of this crap. All these losses. All this sadness. All this madness. All of this.

And now we were done breaking.

We were broken.
