Breaking - Ninjago Fanfiction [DISCONTINUED]

Chapter 1 ~ First Sign

(All right goes to Ninjago and Lego. This is just a fanfic based off the series)

Kai's POV

I sat at the edge of my bed and tried to adjust to the bright light of the sun coming from my window. I then smelled the delicious pancakes and headed towards the kitchen. Nya was making her famous pancakes again.

"You slept in pretty late," she said as she slid a plate of fresh pancakes over to me.

"What time is it?" I asked as I licked my lips and stuffed my mouth.

"Eleven. I'm heading to meet Jay somewhere so I'll be back around five." She replied as she got her things together and left.

Alone I sat. I haven't seen any of the team for a while now. It's almost been year now sense the last threat stepped in Ninjago. I kind of missed those days. I then jolted my head up when I heard a creak from my room. I turned my head around slowly. Then I heard it again. I got up from my seat and looked down the hall. Then all my weapons and swords came flying out of my room and into the hall. My heart started beating faster as fear filled my body. I slowly approached the doorway. I peeked into my room. My heart stopped, no one was there. I walked into my room. I'm being watched. Before I know it a dark figure comes from behind my door and swings it's sword. I quickly dodge it and grab another sword from the ground. The figure looks just like a warrior from the stone army, except that it was pitch black and wore purple armor with green glowing eyes. It swung it's sword again and picked up another one from the ground. I breath in exhaustion for this fighting goes on for what seems like forever. Finally the figure swings it's sword deep into my arm. I drop my sword as a sharp pain comes from my arm and blood starts oozing out. The figure then pounces on me and says two words, "Your dead."

The figure then got off me and jumped out the window and disappeared like a shadow.

What was that thing? I then grabbed a bandage from my cabinet and wrapped it around my arm to stop the bleeding. I knew that I had to tell the others right away. I think a new enemy had came to Ninjago.
