Chapter 16

(Lunaa's POV)

Kaila, Jay, Mizar, and I stood around the arena Nightmare Lloyd chose.

It was awfully suspicious.

"I'm surprised you actually came" a voice said from ahead of us.

Mizar cracked his knuckles and stepped onto the field.

Nightmare Lloyd stepped on too, and then observed his opponent.

"Mizar, please don't hurt him..." Kaila pleaded silently.

I wrap a reassuring arm around her shoulders, and said "don't worry, Lloyd's tough even if he's hurt he'll still make it".

With a warm smile, Kaila smiled back to me and nodded.

"I'm giving one more chance, give me back my brother and you might end up with just a couple bruises" Mizar said.

Nightmare Lloyd chuckled then said "you? Warn me? Please you could barely punch a punching bag back then".

"Why you..." Mizar growled in anger and charged at Night Lloyd.

"Mizar don't let him blind you with anger!" I yelled. It was too late though.

Mizar was tackled then punched in the gut, hard. He grunted in pain but nonetheless stood back up and tried to land a punch on Night Lloyd.

All Night Lloyd did so far was dodge Mizar's attacks.

"This is your sorry excuse for strength?" Night Lloyd said with a grin. Mizar growled in response.

"Mizar don't let him trick you!" I yelled.

Night Lloyd shot me and glance and said "you're a smart girl, but stay out of this".

"No, you leave her out of this!" Mizar once again sped up towards Night Lloyd.

Night Lloyd dodged his punches and suddenly smirked, "so you won't mind if I do this".

"Don't touch her!"

His calls went ignored as Night Lloyd charges an energy ball and aimed at me. I gasped in surprise but still stood my ground.

"No!"

Suddenly Night Lloyd turned and shot it at Mizar.

Mizar flew back and landed on his back.

"Ow.." he muttered.

"You're pathetic"

Mizar growled and stood up, "this is nothing like my little brother, Lloyd I know you're in there!".

"Save your breath," Night Lloyd said as he shot at Mizar again.

"Besides, since when did you care about him?" Night Lloyd asked.

Mizar grunted in response and prepared an energy ball of his own.

"Unless you learned your lesson 14 years ago," night Lloyd said with a smirk.

Mizar stopped his motion and his eyes shone with regret and pain.

Night Lloyd took his shot and kicked Mizar on his sides.

Mizar staggered back up and prepared his defensive stance.

"Aw did I hit a weak spot on the all mighty Mizar" night Lloyd mocked.

"How did you know about that day..?" Mizar asked silently, eyes filled with regret.

"Like I said, I have access to all my dear host's memories".
