The night before the wedding, Cami came back.
The door opened as Cami swam in and hugged me.
"How is the wedding plan going?" She said and smiled. In that one second she became my best friend again. Not that she wasn't always, but having her gone even for a few months, made me sad.
"It's going well!" I said and smiled. I had missed our friendship.
Previously, I had talked to Dad and he told me that he had nothing against Cami, but instead told me a story. According to Dad, my mother hadn't died, but instead, ran off with a woman. I was shocked. I had always thought my mother had died from a stingray attack, but it had never happened.
My dad seemed ashamed.
'I just didn't want it all to happen again with my own daughter. I thought there would be no heir, that you would just run off and I would never see you again' I was angry a little. But I understood.
I was still pondering over what my dad had told me when Cami interuppted me.
"Sorry what?" I asked, looking at her.
"I was just telling you about the people I met out there on the border of the oceans. The people out there are so free and wild, it really is something to see. You should come with me sometime!" She said
"Sounds good." I responded and smiled, leaning back against my chair. "Oh hey! Would you want to be one of my bridesmaids?"
"Of course!" she replied.
let the wedding begin then. I thought, rushing over to hug-tackle Finn as he came to the door, laughing loudly.
