Part 9

Heather: "This is Halloween, this is Halloween. Pumpkins scream in the dead of night..."

*Heather is violently shoving cloths and other things into a large (and very heavy) backpack for hiking*

Heather: "Mwahaha! There is no way Sakura or more importantly, Kakashi, will be able to find me in the woods! Hahaha! The forest is my domain!!"

*Heather finishes packing and opens the front door a crack*

Heather: "Heheh, the coast is clear."

*Heather quickly locks up and books it over the rooftops toward the gates*

Heather: "Almost there... just a few more meters...ACK!"

*Izumo and Kotetsu step out in front of Heather nonchalantly*

Kotetsu: "Hello there Heather."

Izumo: "Where do you think you're going?"

Heather: "Heh, Heh, well...You see...*

*Heather tries to look for an escape route discreetly*

Izumo & Kotetsu: "Well?"

*Lightbulb! Heather rummages around in her pockets*

Heather: "I know I put it in here somewhere..."

*Heather continues to rummage as Izumo and Kotetsu eye her suspiciously*

Heather: "Got it! Here ya go!"

*Heather shoves a very crumpled piece of paper into Izumo's hand*

Izumo: "What's this?"

*Heather closed-eye smiles*

Heather: "It's permission from the Hokage, for me to go camping for a while."

*Izumo and Kotetsu look at Heather in disbelief*

Kotetsu: "No way, this is probably just a scrap of paper, as soon as we look at it, you'll make a break for it."

Heather: "Well then, there are two of you. One can verify it and the other can watch me"

*Heather continues to closed-eye smile. Izumo and Kotetsu look at each other, Izumo slowly turns his head back toward Heather*

Izumo: "Fine... SHE'S GONE!!"

*Kotetsu deadpans*

Kotetsu: "Of course she is gone, you took your eyes off of her."

Izumo: "No it was you who should've watched her!"

Kotetsu: "Oh yah?"

Izumo: "Yah!"

Kakashi: "What are you guys arguing about?"

Izumo & Kotetsu: "Kakashi-San, Heather got away!"

Kakashi: "I assume that she distracted you with that paper."

*Izumo and Kotetsu bow their heads in shame and silently hand the paper to Kakashi*

Kakashi: "It says 'Heather doesn't own the Narutoverse or anything in it, including the two baka gate guards or any part of the leaf village. She does however own 3 laundry baskets and a laundry hamper (don't bother asking why), as well as a large collection of beautiful rocks. She does not claim ownership of herself because slavery is something to be abhorred, not endorsed!' Hmm... why would she have so many containers for dirty laundry?"

*All three look at each other and then shrug*
