Luke looked at me. "You've got to talk to them some time" he said placing a strand of hair behind my ear.
I shock my head. "No I don't" I said looking at the TV. Luke switched it off causing me to groan and him to laugh. "I was watching that" I said and crossed my arms. He laughed again,"you are so stubborn April baby" he smiled. "Thanks" I said, "now put the TV back on...please!" I said. He shock his head, "no" he smiled and I flopped on the sofa. "But why not,I'm missing it!" I said closing my eyes. "You've got to talk to them" he said scooping me up and hugging me. "Why?" I asked. "Coz they're obviously worried about you and you can't ignore them forever" he sighed resting his head on mine.
"What would I even say to them?" I asked looking up at him. He shrugged, "you could just act normally" he said softly playing with my hair. "How can I?" I said annoyed sitting up. He sighed, "I dunno, just say your fine" he shrugged again. "How luke? How am I supposed to act normally when they lied to me for a year and let me forget half my life?" I said raising my voice at him. "Woah, calm down baby" he said softly and reached out, taking his hand in mine. "Sorry" I whispered sitting back down on the sofa next to him but avoiding eye contact with him. "I'm the one who's sorry,I should've protected you from all of that, that was my job, making sure you were safe but I didn't" he sighed, putting his head in his hands.
"No luke,it wasn't your fault,I'm sorry I blew up at you,I just.....I don't know what to do anymore" I sighed, I was now crying and feeling incredibly angry but sad. I got up and ran into lukes room, sitting up against it so no one could come in. I brought my legs up to my chest and cried. "Baby, please, open the door" luke said out of breath as he had just run after me. "No! I'm not good for you! I'm not good for anyone! I cause problems! Just go!" I shouted back at him and I heard him slump down against the other side of the door. "Baby, your the reason I get up in the morning,I love you more than anything,I had nothing but now I have you and I couldn't ask for anything more" he said. I slowly got up and opened the door,I saw luke trying not to cry and he was shaking alittle. He hugged me tightly and kissed my head, "you don't understand how much I need you" he whispered and I hugged him tightly back.
There was a knock at the door and luke looked towards the stairs, "that's probably cal and Perrie" he whispered. "Hmm" I hummed in agreement. "We don't have to go" he whispered but I shock my head. "No, we're going" I said quietly and he nodded. "C'mon then" he said and held my hand leading me downstairs. He opened the door and Perrie smiled, "hi, cals in the car,so if your ready we can go now" she smiled and we nodded. Me and luke got in the car without a word and put our seatbelts on as calum pulled out of the driveway and towards Michaels flat. "Are you two okay?" Calum asked glancing at us in the mirror. "Yeah, we're good" luke said and we both nodded. "Good" Perrie smiled.
About thirty minutes of awkward silence later we arrived in a parking space and calum stopped the car. "Well, here we are" calum sighed looking down. "Well, fingers crossed" luke sighed and we both got out of the car. "It will go great,I promise" Perrie called. I hope she's right. We walked up to number five and luke knocked on the door. We waited for a couple of seconds then I heard movement before the door opened slowly. "Luke?" A confused voice said. I looked up and was greeted by a tall man about lukes age who was quite pale and had short black and blue hair. "April?" He whispered as our eyes met. "Umm,yeah" I smiled. He smiled back and hugged me tightly, spinning me around causing me and luke to laugh. He put me down and smiled brightly, "I've missed that laugh of yours" he said.
"What's going on then?" He asked. "Well, me,April, cal and Perrie are going to the fair and we wanted to drag you with us aswell" luke smiled evilly and Michael sighed sarcastically. "Well if I have to!" He joked. "Yay!" Luke cheered. "I'm just gonna grab my phone and that, come in if you want" Michael said and luke held my hand as we followed him in. We stod in the hallway for abit and I noticed there was a lot of pictures on his wall, none of family though, most of them were of us four and him. There was one of him and luke.
There was one of him asleep on calums shoulder that made me giggle.
It was like he was surrounding himself with happy memories that he didn't want to forget.
He came out a second later, "I was resting my eyes and accidentally fell on calum" he said as he saw me looking at the picture and luke laughed. "Sure Michael" he laughed, "c'mon let's go" he smurked and led me out. We got in the back of the car and perrie squeeled, "this is just like it used to be,we're gonna have so much fun!" She smiled and calum nodded. "Yeah".
" um, sorry for being a dick guys" Michael sighed. Calum shrugged, "we've got you back now and that's all that matters" he smiled. "Thanks cal" Michael laughed and we started to drive to the fair.
Not so long after we arrived and Perrie was out of the car faster than all of us. She wouldn't let go of me and linked arms with me. "What ride first?" She asked and I shrugged. "What about that one? You used to love it!" She smiled pointing to the log flumes. I nodded, "okay" I laughed, "great! Bye guys!" She said to the boys and dragged me towards the water rides. I laughed as we ran up to the line, but it was quite early so there was hardly any people there but Perrie said the crowd would grow when it's later in the evening. "Perrie" I said as we sat on the seats and it traveled up. "Yeah?" She asked looking at me. "I'm sorry" I said. "For what?" She laughed. "For forgetting my best friend" I whispered. She sighed and held my hand, "it wasn't your fault April, your gonna remember, and we've already got Michael back, don't worry about it your doing a great job" she smiled but before I could say anymore I felt the cart going down the slid and with a big splash we landed at the bottom of the ride.
We both screamed then stopped when we realised the ride had finished and looked down to see we were soaked. "Oh my gosh!" Perrie sighed. "That was the scariest ride ever" I said as we got off the ride. "Oh,no. You haven't even been on that with me yet" she said pointing to probably the biggest ride in the park and dragged me towards it. I thought fairgrounds were supposed to be fun?
