This time around

silence is good

Lukes pov.

I pressed the 'call' button. It rang for a couple of seconds then she picked up.

"Hey luke,what's up?" Perrie said sleepily.

"Umm,I want to do something for April,like a date" I said into the receiver.

All I heard in response was a couple of giggles, and 'awww' 's.

"And I was wondering if you could help me? I'm not that good at dates,April deserves the best" I said.

"Course I'll help you luke" she said excitedly.

"Thanks p,I have no ideas and I want it to be a surprise for her,to cheer her up. She's been so down lately  I explained.

" I've got some amazing ideas!" She squeeled, "maybe you could come round and we could talk?".

" oh,well, I don't really want to leave her alone" I said awkwardly.

"That's fine luke,Ill come round later on,calum can come to so she won't be alone while we discuss my amazing ideas!" She laughed.

"Okay,thanks p,your the best" I smiled and hung up.

I put my phone back in my pocket and walked into the living room. April was curled up on the sofa in her pajamas watching 'princess diaries'. It's always been one of her favirate movies. "Hey baby" I whispered kissing her on the head,she didn't move. I walked around and sat next to her,bringing her small body closer to mine. "Did you speak to nial?" I asked. She nodded, "uh huh". (I DONT GIVE TWO SHITS ABOUT THE TIME DIFFERENCE!!!).

" He is alright?" I asked and she nodded again. "He's fine" she whispered her eyes avoiding mine and starring blankly at the TV screen. "That's good" I said and started playing with her hair. "Who were you talking to? On the phone I mean." She said looking up at me. "I was just talking to Perrie, they're coming over today,me and Perrie need to do stuff so calums gonna keep you company" I explained to her brushing her cheek gently and she nodded turning her attention back to the movie.

The movie had ended and we were half way through 'she's the man' when my phone vibrated.(😏😶) I looked up and saw Perrie had texted me. 'Nearly at urs'. "What was that?" April asked. "Just Perrie saying their nearly here" I told her and she nodded.

She seemed quite fragile at this point in time. She liked to know what was happening,where I was and what I was doing wich I didn't mind one bit. She was upset and needed me,and I was gonna be there for her.

Just then there was a gentle knock and April seemed to be startled by it because she shock a little and whipped her head around to the direction of the door. "It's okay,it's only Perrie and calum" I coed and she seemed to calm down as her body started sinking back into the sofa. I made an attempt to get up but April didn't budge. "Can I come with you?" She asked quietly and I nodded. "Course baby" I said. With that,she got up allowing me to get up and she followed behind me as we walked to the door. I opened the door and she hid behind me like I was her protective shield but like I said before,I didn't mind that one bit.

"Hey" Perrie smiled softly,she didn't speak to loud wich I appreciated alot,I think she knew something was up with April anyway even though she didn't know the full story. I guess in a weird way she sensed it. After all they are best friends and best friends kinda sense things,don't they? I pet them in and closed the door behind gently behind us, "hey April" Perrie smiled softly again and gave April a gentle hug. April hugged back, wrapping her arms around perries back and closing her eyes.

"I just have to sort some things with luke first but then I'm all yours okay" Perrie told April pulling away and looking into her eyes, April nodded and we all walked into the living room. April sat down and calum sat down next to her. "I'm just gonna be like ten minutes baby" I told her kissing her hand and she nodded. I stod up and walked into the dining room behind Perrie. I didn't look back at her because I knew if I did I wouldn't of left her and stayed with her.

Calums pov.

Luke walked out following Perrie. It was just me and April now. Her eyes were glued to the TV screen, she was watching some kind of movie,her body seemed to be shaking alittle but she wasn't cold. Her eyes looked red and watery but she wasn't crying. She hated crying infront of anyone...she just refused to do it. She only cried infront of luke and that was it.

I slowly and carefully put my arm around her shoulder and she imediently placed her head on my shoulder and wrapped her arms tightly around my body. "Cuddles are good" I whispered and hugged her back and she nodded. So,we carried on watching the movie in silence. I didn't mind it. Silence is the best thing sometimes. Because, when it's silent nothing needs to be said. You know the person loves you and cares about you,enough said. Without there being anything atall said. Sometimes,silence is the best 'I love you' there is.

April was like little sister to me and I loved her loads. Still do now. And even though we were sat in compleat silence we were really telling each other, 'I love you,thanks for being here with me, this is the best cuddle and we should just stay on this sofa for ever'.

Perries pov.

We walked into the dining room,luke lagging behind. We both sat down opposite to each other. "So,what are these amazing ideas of your then?" He asked, dragging out the amazing causing me to laugh because of the facial expression he done with it.

"Well,where did you go on your first date?" I asked.

"Umm..." He looked up stroking his chin.

"Luke hemmings!!! Do not tell me you have forgotten where you went on your first date with the girl you love!" I said firmly but quiet so April couldn't hear.

He through his head back in laughter holding his stomach, "you-you ac-actually believed that!!" He laughed, then he stopped laughing and looked at me, "wait,you believed that? Do you think I'm a bad boyfriend?" He said in disgust putting his hands on his hips with sass and cocking his head to the side.

"No,I just-, ugh, whatever" I sighed rolling my eyes, "anyway" I coughed. I waited for his reply, he looked at me blankly. "What?" He asked. My jaw dropped and I face palmed myself. "Where did you go on your first date?" I whisper-shouted at him.

"Oh" he smiled as the realisation hit him, "we went to the park and had a picnic" he said. "It was the first time I told her I loved her" he said happily but kind of in a daze.

"Aww,that's sweet" I smiled but he wasn't listening,he was stuck in a daze. I smiled evily to myself and counted down in my head from three. On one I clapped my hands together loudly, he jumped in his seat and let out a high pitch squeel.

"Now" I said clearing my throat. "What if we make a date just like your first one? Yeah! It can be just like it,well apart from April sneaking out her bedroom window whilst Michael and calum distracted Kelly" I laughed slightly.

"And I'll organise everything,I can buy April a dress and get the food,all you have to do is ask the girl" I smiled at him.

"Okay,I'll ask her next week or something" he said.

"Nooo,you'll ask her when we leave and I won't bring up the fact I scared the shit out of you AND you scream like a girl" I said and he sighed.

"Fine" he whispered.

"Yay!" I squeeled.

"I'm going off to see my best friend,bye!" I smiled inocently and skipped off into the living room.

Is it just me or do you love Perrie? She's amazing and she scared the crap out of luke. Let me know how to imagion her to look like and be like.
