This time around

first/not first date

Aprils pov.

"I look horrible" I pouted.

"No! You look amazing!" Perrie smiled.

I looked in the mirror again.

I was wearing a blue dress and some flats. Perrie had styled my hair really nicely into a bun with a few strands out to the sides curled.

Perrie walked infront of me smiling brightly and held my hands.

"You look beautiful! Just like you did on your first date." She said contently.

"This is my first date" I said confused.

"It's not for luke though is it" she pointed out and I nodded remembering.

"Oh yeah" I whispered.

I kept forgetting little things like that and each time I did it made me feel extreamly guilty and bad for luke.

"And technically not for you,you just can't remember your first date" she said making some final adjustments to me and my outfit.

"Did me and luke go on many dates?" I asked curious.

She looked up at me,stopping what she was doing and shrugged. "Uh,i don't think you went on many but you did spend alot of time with each other and you hung out a lot with me,cal and mikey" she said shrugging again.

A moment later she stepped back,"perfect" she whispered.

"Can I go now?"

"Course,luke should be down there" she squeeled and clapped her hands together.

I rolled my eyes and laughed at her excitement and walked to the door but before I could she jumped infront of me and gave me a quick,tight hug. "Sorry" she giggled, "you can go now".

I opened the door and walked out making my way down the stairs and towards the living room. "Luke?" I asked poking my head around the door. He looked around and smiled when his eyes landed on me,standing up.

"You look beautiful April" he told me walking towards me.

He was dressed in jeans and a shirt. Casual but smart.

"Thanks luke,you look...amazing" i smiled.

"Shall we go?" He asked holding my hand tightly and I nodded as he led me out.

"I thought we would walk their,its only five minutes away and it's a beautiful night" luke told me.

"So,this is like our first ever date? So where did we have our first date?" I asked.

"The park....it's no where special but-"

"Luke,dont worry,i mean I'd rather go to the park then some fancy restaurant where posh people judge you,and besides,its who your with that matters,isnt it?" I smiled.

"Yeah,yeah it is." He smiled back, kissing me on the cheek.

The date was amazing.

I could tell luke had taken alot of care into it.

He put little fairy lights in the trees and candles on the floor. It looked so magical. It made a picnic and then the rest of the night we just cuddled and talked to each other...

"Thank you,this has been like the best night ever" I smiled up at luke.

"Your welcome baby,but you haven't been to a karaoke night with Michael" he joked which made me laugh.

"The stars are beautiful." I whispered.

"Yeah,they are. You always did like looking at them. You hardly ever slept,you would always just look at the sky." He laughed lightly and started playing with my hair.

"Did we spend alot of nights together?" I asked.

"Well,i did sneak in at night alot and then sneaked out in the morning without kelly realising it. Although,there was this one time where I was nearly busted and I thought kelly was gonna kill me but you hid me in your wordrobe and thank God she didn't look in there otherwise I'm pretty sure I would've been dead meat." He explained continuing to play with my hair softly.

"Did we ever....uh,yah know?" I said awkwardly.

He chuckled and shock his head, "no. Not yet. Anyway,im pretty sure you wouldn't of forgotten that" he said dramatically trying to flip his hair making me giggle.

From that point on we just looked up at the sky in silence,luke holding me tightly. It got darker and colder though and luke was worried about me so we started to walk home. "Luke" I whispered when we were about a minute away from home. "Yeah?" He asked still walking. "I think....uh..." I stuttured. "What's wrong?"  He asked asked concerned stopping.

"I love you." I blurted out.

He froze compleatly.

"Really?" He said,his lips twisting into a small smile and I nodded.

"I love you to" he said grinning and kissed me on the lips,"now come on,its cold and I don't want you to get sick" luke said and I nodded.

When we got home I sighed and practically flopped on the sofa. "That tired,huh?" Luke said walking in.

"Uh huh" I nodded.

He laughed and opened his mouth to speak but as he did there was a knock at the door.

"What the?" Luke mumbled with a confused face.

It was like half ten so who the heck would be here?

"Stay there,ill be ten seconds" luke told me.

"No wait,i wanna know who it is" I said with a cheeky grin.

He sighed and nodded opening the door.

"Hello?" Luke asked holding my hand.

"April?" She asked.

I felt numb.

"Mum?"
