Aprils pov.

I opened my eyes slowly and groaned,I really didn't feel like doing anything today,especially doing school work. Luke rolled over and opened his eyes aswell, stretching out his arms. "Aren't you supposed to be getting ready for work?" I asked quietly sitting up. "Whoops,I called in sick, and I also told Ashton to cancel your lessons for a few days" he told me with a smile. "Luke,your the best!" I sighed hugging him.

He hugged me back, "well,I think the last thing you need is school work" he said kissing my head. "Thank you" I whispered. "Now,what do you wanna do today?" Luke asked. "Nothing" I told him,looking up into his beautiful blue eyes and he laughed. "Hmm,we could have a movie day" he smiled.

"You mean....downstairs" I groaned. He laughed again, "I have a simple solution" he smiled. "What?" I asked. "I just carry you downstairs" he shrugged and picked me up. I let out a giggle as I didn't realise he would do it so fast.

He jogged downstairs and gently placed me on the sofa. "I'll be one minute baby" he told me and rushed out. "Where are you going?!?" I groaned flopping on the sofa. "Getting food!" He called back. He came back in a minute later with a big bowl of popcorn and a tub of ice cream.

He put it on the coffee table and put on a DVD but I didn't see what film it was. He came back and sat next to me, I moved closer to him and he wrapped his hands around my waist. "My baby is sad and I'm going to make her happy again" he said and pressed play.

"Pitch perfect two?" I asked smiling. Luke shrugged, "I hear it's quite funny". " thanks luke" I whispered and kissed him on the cheek. "Your very welcome April" luke smiled. "You know I love you" he whispered. I looked up and smiled at him, I brushed his cheek and sighed. "You don't have to say it back" he whispered. I shock my head, "luke hemmings, I think I'm falling in love with you all over again" I smiled and he smiled back.

I buried my head in his chest and gripped him tightly. "Yah know,that's probably the best thing I've heard in ages" he sighed. "Yah know...." I whispered, "this is the best I've felt in ages".

Half way through the film the phone rang. At first we just ignored it but it kept ringing and I got really annoyed. " I'm gonna smash that phone in a minute" I sighed putting my hand on my forehead. "It's okay,it will stop ringing in a minute" luke told me laughing. But it didn't. I groaned and stod up. "Baby,just stay with me" luke begged. "I just wanna see who's at the phone,it might be important" I sighed and walked to the phone.

"I won't be long" I called and heard luke reply with a 'yeah'. "Hello?" I sighed into the speaker. "April?" I heard nials tired voice crack and he sniffed like he had been crying. He hasn't cryed since.....well,since along time ago.

"Nial" is all I could say.

"Kelly told me" he said bluntly. I could imagine him just staring blankly at a wall,tears falling from his eyes. He can't go back to that. He just can't. I won't let him.

"Nial,listen to me. Your going to be okay,I promise. Your still my best friend,we'll just not see each other for a long time...." I sighed trying not to cry.

"No. You told me you would never leave me april, I need you! Your the only thing I've got!" He cried.

"Nial,I am not gonna leave you,never. Ever. Your still my best friend,I'm still gonna talk to you,just over the phone instead of face to face. I know you will be fine nial,your a great person and you are gonna find new friends,I promise you that. Your gonna do fine without me there,but I'm always gonna be there for you if and when you need me,okay" I told him.

"April,I'm not sure I can do it without you.....alone" he whispered the last part.

"Your not gonna be alone,I won't let you be alone. I'm always gonna be there for you,always,i promise,and whenever you need to talk to me you just ring me straight away,please" I begged him.

"We're not gonna see each other,for a very long time" he whispered.

"No,I'll see you again,just have to wait abit" I said.

"Okay" is all he said and I heard him sigh.

"Now,get some sleep,I don't want you being tired for school,we'll talk soon I promise,yeah" I said.

"Yeah,night April" he whispered.

"Night nial" I whispered and he hung up.

I sighed and put the phone down. "You okay? Was that nial?" Luke asked walking up to me. I nodded not saying anything. "Are you okay?" He asked again. "Umm,I'm just gonna go to bed" I said quietly and walked up stairs. Luke chased after me and stopped me,holding my arm gently. "April,please tell me what's going on" luke sighed. "Nial just misses me" I shrugged causing him to sighed again.

"April,I know it's something more then that" he looked at me raising his eyebrow. "It's just...." My voice trailed of. "April,you know you can tell me anything" luke said looking into my eyes and holding my hand.

"When me and nial met" I sighed. This was hard for me to say.

"Nial was going to commit suicide.....that's how we met, he was going to jump but I stopped him" I whispered looking down.

"Oh" luke whispered. I started to shake and sob. Luke held my hand and led me upstairs. I got into the bed with luke holding me tightly. "I'm s-such a b-ad f-friend" I whispered to luke. "No,don't say that,your brilliant,nials gonna be okay" he coed. "But wha-what if h-hes n-not?" I cried. "He will be" he told me. "It w-would be a-all my f-fault". " hey,no you need to get some rest,you can call nial as soon as you wake up,I promise" luke said playing with my hair softly and I nodded closing my eyes.

"Night April,I love you" was the last thing I heard before I fell into a deep sleep.
