I'm floating on this cloud
that lies beneath my feet
Its wet, gentle breaths
Tickle my skin
I can feel my toes
Submerge themselves
Into the cold Heaven
Forgetting how it all turned upside downThis lovely, cool cloud
Fooled me & my feet
Knocking the air straight out of my lungs
And kicking me onto my back
It cautiously floated away
Until it soared just above my headHow did that cloud
So pure & white
Turn into the beast
That now sobs above me?
When did that cloud
So gentle & kind
Begin to roar above me
As if I was the monster?I miss those days
When I could feel its soft skin
Tease my own
But now I'm stuck with this cloud
That just can't seem
To leave me alone
