-Lilly POV-
"Jacob?" I ask. "Lilly?" Jacob asks. "No. Get the HELL away from me." I back up and start walking away. Suddenly I'm yanked from the wrist. "Hey hey hey stop Lilly." Jacob says. "No! I'm leaving!" I yell which catches other people's attention but I don't care. I start walking away again and again I'm yanked. "Lilly let me explain!" He begs but I didn't care. "No! You took Jake's side and I'm done with you. You're dead to me Jacob. Tell me one thing, are you still in the gang?" I ask. He keeps quiet. "That's what I thought." I said and scoff. This time when I walk away he let's me walk away. I walk towards the food court and I spot James sitting on a chair, sipping on a Starbucks. I plop down on one of the chairs that was around the table James was sitting at and he gives me a curious look. "What happened?" James asked. "Ran into someone I didn't want to." I said looking down. "Jovani?" James asks and I shook my head. "You don't know him." I tell him. He nods knowing that I don't want to talk about it. "So where next?" James asks and I smile. "Hot Topic." I say. "Why?" He asks. "I want to get my cartilage pierced." I tell him. "Both ears?" He asks. I nod. "Alright let's go babydoll." James says already getting up to throw away his Starbucks cup. "Hold on. I want some Starbucks too loser." I tell him. He rolls his eyes and I get in line to get me a cup of joe. Suddenly the song 'What Makes You Beautiful'. I smiled and looked at James. "No we are NOT singing in the mall. We're trying NOT to get kicked out again." he says and I frown. "Please James..." I say giving him the puppy dog eyes and I stook out my bottom lip. "Ugh! Fine only a little though." He says and I smile. After I finish paying for my coffee, James and I started walking towards Hot Topic singing along with the song playing throughout the mall. One of my favorite parts from this song started and I sung along with One Direction at the top of my lungs, "Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed, But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell, you don't know, oh oh, you don't know you're beautiful. Everyone around me that was listening started clapping and smiled at me. "Thank you." I said bowing. "See James. Quite the opposite of what you thought." I say cockily. He rolled his eyes and says, "Whatever. Look we're at Hot Topic. While I'm here I'm gonna pierce my ears." James says and I nod. We walk in and I speak with one of the workers so someone can 'pierce' us.

We finished with our piercings and James and I walked out of the store after we bought some stuff. We around until we found American Eagle. Bought a couple things there then we walked into Journey's. "James should I get these vans or these?" I ask between the white vans and the galaxy. "I mean the galaxy is nice but if you get white ones everyone gonna be like 'Damn Lilly back at it with the white vans." James says. "Should I just get both?" I ask and he nods. I pick those two and a pair of pink/black converse and one with the simpsons all over it. I paid the $200 and we walked to Foot Locker. "James why don't you get those?" I asked pointing towards the Jordan's he's been ogling since we got here. "Fine. I'll ask for my size." He says. I nod and sit down. "Derek?" I hear James with anger and hurt in his voice. That was my cue to get up. "James what's wrong?" I asked. I wrapped an arm around one of his arms and looked up at him. "No it's not." He says with a clenched jaw. "James who is this guy?" I ask. "Wait the real question here is, are you his girlfriend? James you said you were gay." The guy said. "I am Derek. She isn't my girlfriend. She's my best friend. Lilly this is Derek my uh...-" Derek cuts him off by saying, "I'm Derek his ex boyfriend. Guess he didn't think our 3 year relationship was worth mentioning." I let go of James and stepped back. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. I felt hurt that he didn't tell me about this. I had to hear it from someone else. "Lilly..." James says and I shake my head. "No James. You know maybe I'm being childish for getting mad and sad, but I am. I am mad and sad about this James! I mean I would be fine if you didn't tell me about a ex boyfriend and that I find out like this but what I'm MAD about is that you dated this guy for 3 YEARS and didn't even mention a word. I had to find out from a stranger!" I said. "Lilly he broke my heart! I didn't tell you because if I DID then I would have to relive through that pain!" He yells back at me. I felt a pang of guilt but knowing my stubborn self I didn't let that guilt get into the way and I continued being the bitch I always am. "Doesn't matter James! I'm your BEST FRIEND or so thought so!" I yelled back at him. "You know what deal with your little boyfriend why don't you?" I say and grab or should I say yank my bags from James hands and storm out of foot locker. I walk out the mall and to my car. I threw the bags to the back of the car and stuck my key in the ignition. I started the car and left the mall. I drove away the second I saw James running out the mall. Tears ran down my face as I drove and everything became blurry so I pulled over and dialed a number. The ringing rang through my bluetooth car. "Hello?" The voice flooded the car and I sniffled. "Lilly are you okay?" He asked. "No Nicholas. J-James, a-and e-ex-" I was cut off, "Shh okay okay you can explain later. Where are you I'll pick you up?" Nicholas soothed. "I-I-I'm just o-o-outside the m-mall." I said choking between sobs. "Okay I'm on my way." He hung up and I got out of my car and climbed into the back. I locked the doors and threw my bags to the front of the car. I laid down on the seat and waited for Nicholas. I drifted off and fell asleep.
