Aubree POV

I hadn't gone to see Coach Hamm in over a month, Ricky said he'd been wanting to talk to me and I really wanted to see him.

After school I went home, got Lukie ready for baseball practice and read a little.

I walked over to one of my drawers and pulled out one of the t shirts coach had given me, it had the schools logo with a football on it.

I slipped it on and matched it with jeans and high top white converse, I grabbed my phone off my desk and left the house.

On my short walk to school I started thinking about Chloe and how I knew she had been crying, I hated the pain it caused my chest.

I allowed it leave my mind and started walking towards the athletic building of the school, I stepped inside the coaches office.

Coach Memz is the first one I see and he stands as soon as he sees me

"Hey little one, haven't seen you around here for a while!"

He hugged me and ruffled my hair. I smiled at him and hugged him back.

Coach Putnam was the next one and he shoved me

"Look who showed up! We not good enough for you anymore?"

He teased, I smiled at him and pushed him back.

I knew practice had been over so when I didn't see Coach Hamm I was surprised.

"Where is he?"

Memz said "on the field" at the same time Putnam said "Antartica"

I smiled at them both and said goodbye.

I went outside and stood on top of all the bleachers, I looked down at the field and saw him walking around with a clipboard.

I walked down trying to be as quiet as possible and right before I could yell or jump on his back he turned around without taking his eyes of the clipboard.

"Hey Bree thank you for gracing me with your presence, I feel honored."

"Damn it! You were looking at your clipboard the whole time how did you see me?"

He laughed and finally hugged me

"I have magic powers"

We talked back and forth for a while laughing and joking about random things.

"No but really Bree I'm happy to see you, it had been a while."

I smiled at him and shrugged

"You know I'll always have time to see my favorite guy"

Micah POV

I drive my car up to Ricky's on the schools parking lot and get out.

"What's up Ricky?"

"Well you've been talking about how you work out outside practice so I thought we could both do some extra training together"

It was surprising, I hadn't had anyone want to help out or tag along.

"Hey thanks man that'd be great"

I opened the back of my truck and got my gear, we started walking towards the field and Ricky stopped on top of the bleachers.

I squinted my eyes.

"Is that Aubree?"

Ricky squinted too
