Micah POV

I'm grateful when the weekend comes, not only are Aubree and Chloe upset with me but so is Ricky.

And rightfully so, I had messed up. I knew it as soon as I saw the look on Aubrees face when Chloe walked in. It all went downhill for there.

When I told Ricky he said I had no right to do that to either of them and that he shouldn't have ever given me Aubrees number.

He was right.

Chloe told me she knew I had good intentions and she wasn't mad but she had been distant the last few days.

And Aubree. It was now Saturday and she had missed classes from Tuesday to Friday.

I hadn't seen her since the night she left me standing in a parking lot wishing someone would run me over.

The embarrassed look on her face when she said she thought I had asked her on a date.

The way her lip trembled when she was driving away.

The ache in my chest at the thought of her going home upset because of me.

The night I realized I was attracted to her in more than a sexual way.

Aubree was amazing. She was funny and knew how to have fun when she let you in past the tough exterior.

She was something special, even if she didn't believe it herself.

And I had ruined it, almost immediately.

The day I had her scream at me made me realize how wrong I was. I used to think that her and Chloe looked like each other a lot. I was so wrong.

Aubrees green eyes were huge and beautiful, especially when bewildered. She had long and curly eyelashes. The right amount of freckles under her eyes, full cheeks that were always pink like her lips and she had a perfect, cute nose.

That night she wore a white beanie over her long brown hair. Her hair was usually straight but that night it was in curls. The beanie made her look innocent and young-like, just beautiful.

I felt bad thinking it but Chloe was nowhere near Aubrees beauty. She was pretty too but I had been off when comparing them.

I decide I'm not going to waste my Saturday thinking about it anymore. I'm going on a run.

As soon as I get my running shoes on I feel my phone vibrating in my shorts. It's Chloe!

"Hello! Chloe! Hi! Thanks for calling!"

She chuckles, I probably sound too excited

"Hey Micah..how's it going?"

"It's going okay..how are you?" I hear her sigh but she finally speaks

"I'm okay...no you know I'm not okay.."

I appreciate the honesty even if it makes me feel like shit. She continues talking

"I hate to throw it on you again but...why did you do that? It's been on my mind since Monday and I haven't seen Bree at school. I'm worried about her, what made you come up with such a brilliant idea? I need to know, did Ricky tell you?"
