Part 21

Aubree POV

I'm walking towards the courtyard to sit and study a bit.

A have some time before my next class and I don't want to go all the way back home just to come back an hour later.

I take my laptop out when I find an empty table but look up when I hear obnoxious laughing.

When I do look up I wish I hadn't. In front of me across another table is Micah, only that he's not alone.

By his side sits Brittany? Tiffany? What's the sluts name? I'm sure she's not a slut either. I don't know her.

They sit and she laughs way too loud for my liking, I'm gonna have to move to another table but I look around and the rest of them are occupied by someone.

I try to ignore them but find myself looking up at them every few seconds.

Micah looks at me suddenly and he gives me the biggest smirk I've seen, what the fuck. Like he knows a secret or something.

I grab my shit and head for the parking lot I didn't care to leave and come back anymore. I just needed to get the hell away from Micah and his up to no good face.

I spot Chloe on the other side of the courtyard and walk towards her instead. She talks to a really cute guy but I grab her and face her towards me.

"Get the fu- Bree?"

I look at her

"I don't know what games your friend is playing but you better tell him to stop. He's looking at me weird and holding secrets!"

Chloe looks at me like I've lost it and for a second I think I am too, looking at me weird? Holding secrets?

"Look I know I sound crazy but he's up to something Chloe! He's playing games and you know I don't play games."

Chloe looks over at Micah and she finally talks

"Uh Aubree I have no clue what you're talking about but I do know you just caused that guy to walk away! Did u see how cute he was!? Thanks."

I almost laugh, just like old times. Boy crazy.

"Listen Bree, I don't know what the fuck the deal is with either of you. I do know that there's some crazy sexual tension and you should just get that over with."

"CHLOE!"

I feel my cheeks turn red and she laughs hysterically

"I'm- im just kidding, well not really but oh my god I wish you could see your face!"

I gently shove her but she keeps laughing, soon enough I'm joining her but when I realize what I'm doing i stop and she notices.

She sighs

"I don't know if he's looking at you weird or holding secrets did u say? I'm just his friend! What am I supposed to know that's his business."

I'm not as annoyed as I was a few minutes ago but I say bye and leave her in the courtyard along with the other prick

I decide to walk down and buy some snacks from the vending machine. Might as well just go to class early.

Micah POV

Now that I know Aubree is definitely attracted to me I'm gonna toy with her a bit. Until she begs me to touch her.

I'll get under her skin, until she's irritated with me and steps close to scream in my face. She'll shake her little arms and I'll get in front of her face too and push her against something.
