Not a wolf In Sheep's Clothing After All (Monster Falls Wendip Fanfiction)

Chapter seven: "Lost in the rain again."

Wendy's (POV)

I ran into the forest as fast as I could. I was still a little on edge for leaving Dipper, but I know it would be safe with Ralphie. A little while later, I saw two of the wolves that took Dipper. I growled at the wolves and leaped to one of them. The wolf moved and I fell down. I was about to get up when I heard a snap, and shot in the air. I looked around and saw that I was caught in a net trap! I then saw the wolves take off there heads, revealing two human hunters! I whimpered as they laughed at me.

"Well, it looks like we got a beauty."

"Yeah, she will be worth a couple hundred bucks."

I growled at the hunters and they laughed. When they reached for the net, I bit one of the hunter's hand. The hunter pulled back in pain, and punched me through the net. I whined as they took the net down. They tied the net shut, and brought me to there truck. They threw me in the back and drove off. I whined as the thought of never seeing Dipper came to mind. I shed a tear at the thought, and howled as loud as I could.

Dipper's (POV)

I heard a howl in the distance, and I knew who did it. Wendy. I ran faster into the woods looking for her. After what felt like forever, I stepped on something soft. I looked down and saw wolf costumes. I then saw wolf paw prints near the costumes. They looked like Wendy's paw prints. I thought for a second, why would there be wolf costumes in the middle of the woods? Unless.....Hunters!! I started running again, until it started to rain hard again. I decided I should wait until the rain stopped. I layed down on the cold wet ground, and tried to sleep. I feared the worst for Wendy, now that I saw the wolf costumes, and her paw prints. I thought that the hunters must have snatched her.

That morning, it was still raining but not as badly, so I got up from the ground and started walking. I walked for awhile until I saw very faint tier tracks. I followed the tracks, until I they ended near the border of the town and the forest. The town was where all the humans were, and if they saw me, I'll be on someone's wall. I had to think of a plan before going there. But in the mean time, I have to find food, but the heavy rain made it difficult to find anything.

I continued to walk in the woods. The rain felt like it did nothing but get harder every hour. I really wish that me and Wendy were back at the den cuddling right now. But she is in danger, and I must find her even if it kills me. I then saw a bush of berries and I smiled. I walked to the bush, and I heard a voice.

"A little far from home huh deer boy?"

"Who said that?"

"Down here."

I looked down to see a white rabbit there. She smiled at me and spoke up again.

"What's your name deer boy?"

"I'm Dipper, and you are?"

"The name's Alice, and I'm a cotton tail rabbit."

"I can see that, I also saw that you already knew that I'm a deer senator."

"Yep, but a small one at that."

"Well, I am just a fawn."

"Which is why I asked you, why are you so far away from home?"

"I'm looking for a close friend of mine."

"Ah, what's his name?"

"Her name is Wendy."

"Ah, a she. Is she your mate?"

"No, but I really care for her. And she cares for me."

"That's cool, where is this other deer?"

"Uhh, she's not a deer."

"Then what is she?"

I hesitated before I spoke up again to the rabbit.

"A w...wolf."

"A WOLF, WHERE?!"

"No, Wendy is a wolf."

"Your close friend is a wolf?!"

"Yeah."

"That's crazy!"

"But it's true, she saved me from other predators and I trust her. I care for her, and she cares about me."

"If you say so kid, well I better be off I hope you find your friend."

"Thanks, bye Alice."

"Goodbye Dipper."

And with that Alice hopped away from me, and I stood there alone again. I grabbed some berries and started eating. After I was done, I layed down in the wet grass, and fell asleep.
