Not a wolf In Sheep's Clothing After All (Monster Falls Wendip Fanfiction)

Chapter one: "I'm with you."

It was a cold Autumn night in the Mystery town of Gravity Falls. And in this night the forest was jumping with activity. A pack of wolves was on the move, growling and barking at their prey. The deer boy they were chasing was running as fast as he can. With the sound of the wolves closing in on him, he tried to run faster. He ran until he was backed into a corner of a big rock. He started to panic as one wolf got closer. He closed his eyes waiting for the worst, when he heard another growling sound. A red she wolf jumped in front of the fawn, growling at the other wolves.

One wolf leaped to the red wolf, but she bites him first. She pinned him down before going to the next wolf. A big black wolf jumped at the she wolf, biting her hard. She throw him off, and bit his neck making him go down. The wolves ran in fear as the red she wolf howled. The deer boy shook in fear. The wolf turned to him, and he fainted in fear.

Dipper's (POV)

When I woke up, I was in a den. I was lying on the cold stone ground with a red fluffy tail around me. I looked to see a wolf there. I screamed as she turned to me. I got up and backed up to the edge of the den shaking in fear. She got up and walked to me. I was shaking in fear, as she flattens her ears. She tucked her tail between her legs, and whimpered. I calmed down and she walked up to me. She smiled at me before she spoke up.

"Hey, it's okay you're safe now."

"W..who are you?"

She giggled before she spoke up again.

"My name is Wendy, and you are?"

"D...Dipper.."

"Nice to meet you dude."

I smiled and she smiled back. But I still wonder, why did she save me? She's a wolf and I'm a deer. Why would a wolf save a deer? I was about to ask when she pawed me a leaf full of nuts, berries, and clover. She got me food? She sat at the opening of the cave and I walked over to her. I looked at her, before I spoke up.

"Why did you save me Wendy?"

She stayed quite, and dropped her head before she spoke up again.

"Because, I don't have the heart to see a kid die."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I mean I like deer and all, but when I saw how afraid you were, I couldn't just let you die. So I felt like it was the right thing to do."

"Well, thank you Wendy."

"Don't mention it squirt."

She then walked back in the cave and layed down. I layed down by her and she curled herself around me. I blushed before I fell asleep that night. But before I did, I heard her whisper..

"I'm with you, I promise as long as I'm here you will be safe."

I smiled and fell asleep.
