A chance meeting with Glen

First date

The sun was shining ,there was a gentle breeze .I looked around for a few moments scanning the crowd around the green .It was lunchtime so it was quite busy .I couldn't see Glen anywhere ,my heart sank .I knew it was too good to be true -he must of changed his mind !But then I felt arms wrapping around my waist from behind ,I gasped ,I slowly turned around .There he was ,more beautiful than I even remembered !He smiled

"Hi Aimee ,ah so happy you showed up ,I was afraid you'd changed your mind ?!"

No I said softly,looking down at my shoes,so awkwardly " I honestly thought you would !"

He began laughing "sure why would I?I really want to get to know you !"

Glen makes me so nervous but at the same time really calm . 

"Thank you for the gorgeous roses ,it was really sweet of you !" I beamed.

He was looking deep into my eyes now ,"gorgeous roses for a gorgeous lady" he said ! 

He clasped his hand in mine and led me over to bench beneath a beautiful tree . 

We talked and laughed for what seemed like ages.He really could make me laugh and I just find that so attractive in a guy .Glen is so sweet ,kind ,gentle and grounded it's hard to remember at times that he is also a world famous ,insanely talented drummer with one the greatest bands ! 

It was starting to feel like I had known Glen for years but his smile oh his smile it made me weak ,gave me so many butterflies .This man was seriously close to perfection !

Glens P.O.V. 

I was really enjoying my afternoon with Aimee ,I felt really nervous around her but at ease at the same time - kind of strange but so true ! 

We spent so long chatting away and she is interested in me as a person not the guy from the script ! 

I'm always so cautious when it comes to getting involved with women .

I have been single for a while now and although there are advantages to that being in the band and traveling the world meeting so many people .It's not the same ,I want someone to share it with.

Don't get me wrong ,I have an amazing family ,great friends and a son I'm crazy about . 

But it would be nice to have someone special to come home to ,someone to share the dream I am living .Somebody who loved me for who I am not what my job is !

I genuinely really like Aimee and really hope we can spend lots more time together.For the first time, in a long time ,I just want someone to stand still with and someone who wants to stand still with me ! 

Even in this short space of time I think I may have found that girl !!

Aimee's  P.O.V. 

Glen was listening and laughing as I babbled away with some funny stories but then he looked so pensive .I'm thinking I've said something wrong but no. 

He leans in gently resting his forehead against mine and whispers "I'm so happy we met " 

We pull apart but are our eyes stay totally focused on each other .

He smiles sweetly and then kisses me so softly to begin with. 

I feel like I am floating ,it could just be us two here. 

The kiss deepens ,there is so much want ,need and lust .My fingers are gently running through his soft hair ,Glen is stroking my neck .It feels so right ,like the world is standing still !

I simply don't want this day to end!
