A chance meeting with Glen

Our colours colide

I woke up to the sunlight dancing around the room,a huge smile crept across my face and as I became more conscious,I was aware of Glen's gentle snoring.A sound that right at this moment was total bliss.I turned to face him,his arm still draped across my waist.I breathed in every second,watching him sleep so peacefully.I felt like I was home again,totally content.As I watched him, all the amazing memories we had made together,danced around my mind.I was now smiling to myself thinking about when we met,fell in love and how only Glen has made me feel this deliriously happy.

I couldn't take it any longer,I traced the beautiful features on his face,tenderly with my fingers,before gently kissing is still slightly swollen lips and running my fingers softly through his hair He smiled into my kiss,pulling me into his embrace."Mmmmmm,I missed this" he said hoarsely,still almost asleep.

I rested my head against chest,listening to the calming beat of his heart.It felt wonderful to be waking up in his arms again.I felt like I was floating on a cloud.I have never been happier than when I am with him.I sigh contently.Everything just feels right....the way it is meant to be,like the missing piece of my puzzle is back.I feel complete again.

"It all feels right again doesn't it?" he kisses the top of my head,tilting it so I am now looking up at him.

"hmm?"I mumble contently,just relishing his touch,the sound of his voice.

"This?Us?Waking up together,it feels totally right.I feel whole again,you complete me Aimee".Glen leans down and places a very tender kiss on my lips.I giggle

"Whats so funny?"He laughed

"You...saying almost exactly what I was just thinking.....Being apart from you...I felt like a piece of me,the best piece of me was missing.Yes it feels right,it feels perfect.I love you so much Glen.I never want to be apart from you again."

"You mean that,genuinely?You mean that?"His smile weakens and he's now looking a little serious.

"Yes,baby, of course.I have made mistakes, WE have made mistakes.But you are the love of my life,I love the sound of your voice and the touch of your hand and the way you smile and the way you make me smile!.The thought of not being by your side scares me,I missed you like crazy.Maybe we need to build back up our relationship,but I want to try...to make this better...isn't that what you want?"

"No!"He pulls away from me leaning down to get his jeans.

My heart is racing.I don't know what to think....what he's going to do...

"We don't need to build our relationship back up...It's all still there,the fire ,the passion,that immense spark.Our colours come alive when we collide.I want your fears,your hopes,your dreams.I want your highs. your lows.I love you and I know after last night you love me too.I have never felt love like I felt it last night.....Aimee will you marry me?"

"Yes,"I cried,tears streaming down my face...hot with emotion."I want nothing more than to be your wife,I want to give you a life full of joy and laughter.All I want is you. ,of course I'll marry you Glen!"I can't get any more words out,I am so emotional,we are only back together a few hours but its like we were never apart.

He takes my hand,Kissing it, so lovingly and slips my engagement ring on to my finger.

I gasp....Oh my goodness!!Glen you carried my ring with you?I can't believe this,more tears are flowing....I am so touched by this romantic gesture.

"Of course baby,I never gave up hope...we belong together.You are my destiny"

That magical sparkle is back in his sapphire eyes.I pull him in close,no words can beat what he just said or what he's done.So I show him.

I pulled him in close,my mouth opening over his with sudden urgency,he responded with exquisite eagerness,that made my hands tremble,as I caressed his skin and pulled him tightly toward me.He met my passion with his own deepening our kiss,his fingers running through my hair and slowly over my body.I gasp at his touch,my breath is rapid,my heart is racing,butterflies churn madly in my tummy,as he shows me just how much he loves me!

My world,our world has come alive again and it's the most amazing feeling ever!
