A chance meeting with Glen

Drunken mistakes

"Woah Mark noooooo ! "

I push him off not responding to his kiss . 

"You're upset and have had way too much to drink.This isn't you ,come on ?"

I try to be understanding .

"Fuuuck .What have I done?" he slurs .I"'m sorry Aims"- he can't look at me now.

"Get some sleep Mark I'm going to bed. "

"Are ya gonna tell G ?"he looks worried now . 

"I don't know,I don't think I could keep something like this from him I love him too much."

I don't give him time to reply and just go back to Glen but don't sleep.I just watch him sleep .He looks so content ,but I have to tell him.I didn't do anything wrong but I trust him completely and always want him to feel the same.

I must of fallen asleep but when I awaken Glen is not in bed .I pull on some clothes and go looking for him.

He's drinking tea in the living room .Mark is gone . 

"Mornin babe" Glen smiles,"not like Mark to leave without sayin anything" he says. 

I go back out to get a coffee saying nothing.He followed me ."Hey! was I snorin again with all that whisky? "he laughs.

I still say nothing.Going back to the living room.

"What the hell Aims ?"he's getting frustrated now. "What did I do ?"

"You didn't do anything Glen but ..."

"But what Aimee, you're freakin me out now!"

"Mark was wasted last night and feeling pretty sorry for himself ."

"Yeah I know I was here!" Glen says.

"Yeah well I got up during the night to get a drink and he wanted someone to talk to". 

"So ?"Glen was inquisitive now. 

"Well he kinda tried to kiss me !" I couldn't look at him. 

"He did fucking what?" Glen screeched. 

I haven't see him angry before. 

"Ah look, he was drunk ,in a bad place .It meant nothing to either of us.I didn't kiss him back. It's not like we have feelings for eachother .I am madly in love with you and he's married ! "

"Fucking right he's married!What the fuck was he thinking?" Glen screeched.

"Thats exactly it hun,he wasn't thinking ,it was just the drink.He's your friend he wouldn't want to hurt you ,I couldn't keep it from you but I'm not telling Rina thats for him to confess."

"Well fuck Aims! You're way more understanding than me cause if he was here I'd punch him."

"I don't want you to do anything Glen.I just hope you trust that I love you and wouldn't ever hurt you?"

He pulls me in close,"I do trust you Aimee ,I love you more than words can express!".He kisses me softly.
