I will stand by you
I will help you through

"There you go, Danny you're all set. Make sure you do those stretches I gave you and you should be back to normal in no time," I said as I helped him back up to standing. Danny Amendola was nursing a knee injury and needed my help. As a physical therapist, I help players from many teams with their injuries.

Unfortunately, the New York Jets were in town this week, which meant that I had to help any of their players that were suffering from injuries. My room which was usually filled with red and blue, now suffered from the green and white.

"There's my gorgeous girl," Julian snuck up behind me. I jumped from surprise but instantly relaxed when I heard his sexy voice. His lips planted a kiss on my cheeks as his muscular arms wrapped around my waist. I put my much smaller hands on top of his bigger ones as I leaned back into him.

"How are you today? Are you hurting?" I turned to face him. He usually only came in to the Physical Therapy room when he was hurt. I ran my hand down his face.

"I'm fine. I just wanted to see you," he answered. A smug smile spread across his face.

"Excuse me," an unfamiliar voice said behind us. A look of disgust took over Julian's face, putting his smile into hiding.

I turned around and saw a player wearing green. I didn't recognize him but instantly knew why Julian's expression changed so quickly. "I'll talk to you later," I pecked Julian's cheek before turning to my new patient.

"Eric Decker," the man said holding out his hand to introduce himself. His voice was deep and he towered over me.

"Ashley," I held out my hand for him to shake. "What can I do for you today?" I asked. He took a seat on the table, telling me that he was familiar with the physical therapy process.

"I tweaked my ankle during practice and I was just hoping you could help me out," he explained. He leaned back against the pillow as I moved to his ankle.

I gently rotated it and stretched it as I would with any player. "Are you coming to the game on Sunday? I can save you a ticket," He asked as he propped himself up on his elbows to see me better. A cocky smile played across his lips.

"Yup. I go to every game. My boyfriend plays on the team and he gets me tickets," I explained quickly shutting down his offer and showing him that I wasn't interested. I looked around the room, Julian and Danny were talking near the Dumbbells.

"Oh, that's too bad. You'd look good in green," Eric quickly retorted.

"No. Red and blue are more my colors," I answered. I stretched his ankle one last time. "You're all set. Just keep stretching it and it should be good before game time. I sometimes hated that I had to help the other team. It was like I was helping them win. Eric stood from the table.

"Wow that's a lot better. Thank you so much. Can I give you a hug?" He asked. Before I could answer his arms were around me and my fave was squished into his chest. I tried pushing away but he was stronger than I was.

"Hey man, what the hell are you doing?" Julian ran up to us angrily. Eric removed one arm from me but held a tight grip and put me at his side. I tried pushing off of him but his one arm was so much stronger than my whole body it was useless.

"I was just thanking your girlfriend for helping my ankle so we can whoop your ass on Sunday," Eric explained.

"That's not going to happen. Let her go," Julian was fuming. His face was red. Eric was smiling and Julian finally pulled me away from him. Danny came out of no where and pulled me away from the two.

"If you're so confident that you will win on Sunday then let's put a bet on it. We win and I get to take Ashley on a date. You win and I leave you alone," Eric suggested.

"Hey, I've got a better idea," Julian spoke and his fist instantly met Eric's face. "How about you stay the hell away from my girl, and worry about your damn ankle," Julian spoke. His punch forced Eric to the ground so now Julian was towering over him. I felt pride in my boyfriend for standing up for me and our relationship. Danny laughed as Julian stood over Eric.

And with that Julian left him laying on the ground. He wrapped his arm tightly around my waist and led me out of the physical therapy room.
