Chapter 2 He's just there

Several days passed, the school is going smoothly on her. Everyday is just a normal day to her.

“Hikari-chan, are you going home now?” Mio asked.

“Uhm, not yet I have to go to the library first.” She said.

“Ah ok, I’ll go ahead, bye” Mio said and goes away.

She goes to the library, and works on some stuff.

“Alright, I’m done.” She looks at the window. “Oh its getting dark I need to go home now.” She said to herself. And pick up her things.

While walking towards the school gate, someone call her name.

“HIKARI-CHAN” the voice said.

She looks back and a girl hugs her tight. She was a bit surprised by the sudden action of the girl but she manages not to fall on the ground.

“Wait I can’t breathe Riko-chan” she said recognizing the girl.

Riko stops hugging her.

“I’m glad that you decided to study here.” She said happily.

She smiles, “I’m glad too.” She said.

“It was almost a year then.” Riko said. “How are you? And Chizu, I heard the news.” she said and saddened.

“Ah, I’m fine, and Chizu is fine now too she is on the treatment for her left leg to heal. It’s ok now it’s been a year.” Hikari said trying to comfort Riko. And she did.

“Ahem,” a fake coughs heard.

They look on the boys. Hikari blinks twice then look again to Riko with who-are-they-look.

“Ah-eh sorry I forgot. They are the men’s basketball team of our school. And I am their coach.” She said.

“Not wondering you’re the coach. Cause you act one since then.” Hikari said.

          Riko introduce everyone to her.

          “Alright, guys this is Hik---“ Riko said but interrupted.

          “Uhm, Riko I think you forgot to introduce him.” She said pointing to Kuroko.

          Everyone was jump in surprise they didn’t even notice that Kuroko is just there beside Kagami.

          “Whaaaa, since when are you there?” Kagami asked kuroko.

          “Since we see her.” He answered.

          “Yeah, he is there since I saw you all.” She said.

          “You mean, you can see Tetsuya?” Riko asked her.

          “Yes, why? Is he a ghost or something?” she answered.

          “Someone can see Tetsuya. Do you have a special power?” Kagami said.

          “huh?” Hikari said tilt her head a little and a big question mark popped out on her head.

          “Ah nevermind, Hikari that is Kuroko Tetsuya. Guys she is Kishimoto Hikari a childhood friend of mine.” She bows as Riko introduces her to everyone.

          “Coach has a friend like Hikari.” Junpei said whispering.

          “Are you saying something Junpei?” Riko asked a vein popped out on her head.

          “I don’t say anything.” He answered defensively.

          “Hikari, lets go eat something and talk for a while. We don’t see each other for almost a year. You’re going to tell me many stories of yours.” Riko said excitedly.

          “Uhm, gomenasai Riko-chan. I have to go to the flower shop now. I need to help mama in the shop.” She said. “Hmmm, maybe next time.” She added to cheer up Riko.

          “Okay, that’s a promise then.” Riko said.

          “Hai” she answered with a smile. “I have to go now bye” she waves her hand and walk away.
