Chapter 26 Uneventful day with the hint of jealousy

          “Tetsu-kuuuuuuuun~” Momoi shouts. Tetsuya and Kagami look at her direction. When she got near she abruptly hugs him in excitement.

          “Momoi-san what are you doing here?” Tetsuya asks. She is now clinging on his arms.

          “I just come to see you.” She said happily.

          “I think I’ll go ahead now.” Taiga said starting walked away but his wrist was grabbed by Tetsuya. Sending him shivers to his spine. He looks nervously to Tetsuya and sees an imaginary bubble speech “don’t leave me here now.” written on it.

          “Lets go and eat something.” She said. “Come with us Kagami-kun.” She inquired. He will going to decline but his stomach growled loudly so he tag along.

          On their way, Tetsuya#2 suddenly jumps off to Tetsuya’s bag and run. They follow her until it stops on the door of a store and wag its tail.

          “What are you going to do with a book store?” kagami asks. They walk to the dog then suddenly the door of the store opens revealing Mio. The dog barks.

          “N-number 2? What are you doing here?” a familiar feminine voice was heard. Then the dog runs inside and caressing itself to her legs. She lifts the dog up walks outside the store.

          “Isn’t that dog is the team’s mascot?” Mio asks. Hikari nods.

          “It’s H-hikari-chan.” taiga said the two girls look to their side and find them there. As the three approaches them she gives the dog to its owner.

          “Hikariii-chaaaaaan~” Momoi said and gives her a death hug.

          “A-ahhh M-mo-momoi-chan I can’t breathe.” She manages to say and she quit hugging her.

          “I haven’t talk to you for a while now.” Momoi said.

          “Yes it is.” She just said.

          “Uhm where are you going by the way?” Hikari asks.

          “We’re going to eat.” Momoi said clinging on Tetsuya’s arm.

          “Ah is that so.” She said.

          “Come and eat with us.” Momoi invites her.

          “A-ah uhm I have a friend with me.” She said looking at Mio. She then smiles and bows.

          “Its alright, we already buy the books and I have to tutor a child today so I have go now too.” Mio smiles and waves goodbye.

          “So you’re going with us.” Momoi said.

          “Uhm―” she was cut off.

          “No excuses, you’ll always make one when I asks you.” Momoi said and pouted.

          “I-is that so, I think I could not say no to you today.” She said. So they start walking to the fast food with this arrangement. Kagami - Hikari - Number 2  - Momoi clinging on Tetsuya.

          “Are you alright Hikari?” Kagami asks as he notices her lost in thoughts.

          “W-what? Y-yeah I’m fine. I was just… having a feeling that I forgot something.” She reasoned out.

          “What is it?” he asks her.

          “I wouldn’t have this feeling if I remember, would I?” she said.

          “Oh you’re right.” He just said. She chuckles.

          “You really are Bakagami.” She said laughing lightly.

          “No I’m not.” He protested but she just laughs.

          Tetsuya looks at them in the corner of his eyes.

Fast food chain

          They find their seats and going to order. Kagami presented himself to order for them.

          “I’ll go with him.” Hikari said.

          “No, I can handle that.” Kagami said.

          “No its fine, besides I want to order for my self.” She said.

          “I’ll go with Kagami-kun instead.” Tetsuya presented himself too.

          “No… it’s fine. Kagami and I will go and buy our food. We don’t want to ruin your moment.” She said and smiles and follows Kagami to buy their food.

          ‘No you’re not at all.’ Tetsuya told to himself.

          On the line, Hikari lost in herself again.

          “Hikari, it’s you’re turn.” Kagami said that brings her back to reality.

          “A-ah yeah I’m sorry.” She said and had her orders.

          They eat their food peacefully with a little chatting and so on.

          “Are you really alright? You really seem off today.” Kagami said to Hikari.

          “Yeah, I’m just a bit spaced out.” She answered.

          “Is that thing you forgot is really important?” he asks again.

          “How will I know if I forgot.” She said.

          “Y-yeah you’re right.” He said.

          “Don’t mind me. I’m fine.” She said and smiles at him making him blush a little.

          “I-I don’t mind you… you… you look like an idiot there that’s all.” He said looking away.

          “That’s rude Bakagami-nii.” She said and pouts.

          “Hey, we are at the same age.” He said and she laughs.

          “TAIGA-NII!” she said as she laughs.

          Little did they notice that a pair of blue eyes is observing them while sipping a vanilla milk shake. After eating they decided to go home since its getting late. They bid goodbye to Kagami and the three have their way.

          “Tetsu-kun, isn’t it that you’re going to walk farther if you choose this way?” Momoi said confuse.

          “Is that true Tetsuya-kun?” Hikari asks.

          “Yeah, but this way is more convenient and peaceful.” He said. He chooses the farther way to home just to have a walk to home with Hikari everyday.

          “Ah, is that so.” Momoi said.

          “Uhm I have to go this way now.” Hikari said.

          “But that’s not the way to your house.” Tetsuya said.

          “A-ah I now remember what I forgot. I forgot it at the flower shop.” She said and waves goodbye then she runs away. She turns some streets and then reaches her home.

          “I’ll be fine… I’ll be fine…” she said to herself as she reaches her room.
