Chapter 1

Encounter

It is been several days since the school year started. She is just a freshman but she is already known by their teachers. She is intelligent and beautiful aside from that she is also kind to everyone.

"Nee, Hikari-chan, which club are you going to join?" her classmate Mio asked her.

"Hmmm actually I still don't know." She answered.

"But then, whatever club are you decided to join they will gladly accept you cause your almost good at everything." Mio said.

"That's not true Mio-chan. I do not know how to ride a bike." She confessed.

"Really!" Mio said surprised. "But if you want, you can easily learn it." She added.

"If I could, then maybe I already know how to and I'm going to school riding a bike. But I don't. We have our own weaknesses and that why we have our friends." She explained.

"You're right." Mio agreed.

Suddenly Hikari was slightly hit by a running guy.

"Gomen" he only said and continues to run.

"Daijobou Hikari-chan? That guy" Mio said.

"I'm alright. He was just hit my shoulder." She said.

Then they proceed to their classroom.

Time skip: some time later.

"Hey Hikari-chan look." Mio said pointing on the rooftop. "What are they doing there." She added.

"I do not know." Hikari said.

One by one the boys on the rooftop shout something about why did they join in the basketball team. When the last guy is going speak they are caught by the sensei. These happenings caught her glimpse of the past.

"What's with them?" Mio said.

"They are stating their reasons to go on." She said almost whispering.

"Are you saying something Hikari-chan?" Mio asked.

"Uhm nothing lets go." She said.

"Hai" Mio responds.

The next day, there is something written on the school ground. "NUMBER 1 IN JAPAN!" She stares at the writings on the ground and said to herself "Number one in Japan huh. Just like him."
