Chapter 18 Pass the Test

          It’s been several days since that thing happened. She talks Tetsuya as usual as she does and tries her best not to bring up that thing. Today is their examination and everyone come to school early for the test.

          “Alright this is it! I can play basketball again after this exam.” Kagami said energetically.

          “Pass the test first kagami-kun.” Tetsuya said.

          “I know, I know.” He replied.

*Test* *Test* *Test*

*** After exams ***

          Everyone goes to the gym to practice.

          “How’s the test?” Riko asks Hikari.

          “Its fine I think.” She said. Then Kuroko comes to the gym with depressed Kagami.

          “Hey what’s with him Tetsuya-kun?” Hikari asks Kuroko.

          “He fails one of the tests.” He said.

          “Arrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh, I want to play now!!!!” Kagami shouts.

          “Kagami-kun calm down.” Kuroko said.

          “The next test will be on the day after tomorrow.” He added.

          “You still have time to review again.” Riko said. She thinks and has an idea.

          “Hikari-chan, can you teach Kagami-kun for the test since he cannot join the practice until the next test.” She asks her.

          “I think I can.” Hikari said.

          “Alright you can have your review somewhere else.” She said.

          “Can I come with them?” Tetsuya asks Riko.

          “Why? You passed your test right?” Riko asks him back.

          “Yeah, uhm I’m just concern with Kagami-kun.” He said.

          “Is that so?” she just said. “Or you’re just jealous.” She said to herself.

          “Alright, you can go with them.” She said and the three went out of the gym. They decided to eat first to a fast food restaurant. They ordered the usual.

          “You’re such a glutton Taiga-kun.” Hikari commented.

          “Look whose talking, chocolate addict.” Kagami said.

          “Hey! I’m not addict.” She defended. “I’m just… hmmm a chocolate fan.” She said looking away.

          “Whatever it is, it’s the same.” He said and continues to eat. When they are finished they started reviewing Kagami.

          “Alright, alright I got it now.” Kagami said. “This is easy, but the way teachers teach it is so difficult.” He added.

          “Not like that. You’re just not listening to them.” She said after a while they decided to go home.

*** Time skip (examination day)

          Kagami slams the door open. The basketball team was shocked and looks at him.

          “Hey, Kagami-kun, don’t slam the door.” Riko scolds him. He is just so proud that he got 98 to his exam.

          “98! Great Taiga-kun, congratulations.” Hikari said.

          “Hahahaha I can play now isn’t it?” he said.

          “Yeah” Riko said and he enters the court. Hikari taps Riko’s shoulder.

          “Let him now. He was just excited to play again.” She said smiling to Riko. She smiles too.

A/N: i don't now why but.... i find Kagami and Hikari cute in their conversation.... >.<
