Chapter 6 Practice Match

Today is the practice match between Seirin and Kaijo.

          “Ok guys we have to win this.” Riko said. They are in front of Kaijo high.

          “You’re here.” Kise said.

          “You weren’t excited huh.” Junpei commented.

          “Haha I am really excited to have a match with kurokocchi and Kagami.” He said.

          “Better be ready, we won’t hold back.” Taiga said.

          “Riko-chan can I ask if who their coach is?” Hikari asks.

          “Their coach is Genta Takeuchi.” Riko answered.

          “Oh I see.” She just said.

          “Hikari-chan you’re here too. I’m happy that you come.” Kise said holding and happily shaking her hands.

          “I am the team’s manager so I must be here.” She said with monotonous voice. A guy suddenly came and kicks Ryota.

          “Stop playing around Kise.” Kasamatsu, their team captain said.

          “Ouch, captain, don’t make me look idiot in front of Hikari-chan.” Kise said.

          The Seirin team just sweatdropped.

          They all went to the gym.

          “We’re only using the half court and Ryota will not play today.” Their coach said.

          “But coach I want to play against Kuroko.” Kise said.

          “Not now.” He said.

          The news reached the Seirin and they became little angry about it because it looks like they are thinking that Seirin is weak.

          “That guy” Riko said.

          “Calm down Riko-chan. If they think that we’re weak we must do something to make their impression change.” She said.

          “Ok guys time to warm up.” Riko said and they did.

          Later then the game starts. The game was on Seirin’s pace. Many were amazed with the good combination of Kuroko and Taiga. The coach of Kaijo calls for a time out.

          “I want to play coach.” Kise said.

          Kasamatsu kicks him again.

          “Stop pestering coach.” He said.

          “That girl (referring to Hikari) there’s something on her.” The coach said.

          “Yeah, there’s really something on her.” Kise said in agreement.

          Then the time out is up and the game again started. While playing, Kagami destroyed the backboard. Everyone was shocked to his strength. The coach looks at Hikari who is smirks a little that time, looks like she is expecting that to happen. Then the Kaijo’s coach forces to use the whole court and enters Kise into the game.

          “Yes finally.” He said.

          “This is only the start.” Kuroko said.

          The game continues, as Kise now is copying their moves. The pace of the game is going to the Kaijo. Hikari is just looking observantly to the players.
