A P R I L

"What do you mean you haven't told Luke yet?!" Calum yelled at me.

I had tears in my eyes. I had done from the beginning of this conversation. I was at Calum's house, I came over because I needed to get out of my house. Away from the people that I'm ashamed to call my parents.

"I don't know Cal. I'd always thought that I'd teller him sooner than this. Soon was two months, then one month, then two weeks, then it was a week and now it's the day before I leave," I said between sobbing and resting my head in my hands.

I was crying with my head on Calum's shoulder and my hands over my eyes. I still haven't told Luke what would be happening tomorrow. Why didn't I tell him sooner?

"You're gonna have to tell him today, you know?" Calum sighed, "or are you just gonna leave without telling him?"

"I have to tell him today. I can't leave and not tell him," I sobbed, "What if he makes me stay? Or wants to come with me? What if we break up because of this? Oh for fucks sake! I'm 14 Calum, nearly 15. My parents can't do this to me."

"I know April, I know. You need to think positively. He'll want you to stay or to go with you! You know what Luke's like."

"That's what I'm scared of. I can't just expect Luke to pack up all his things and leave his family and all of you behind. You've got your lives ahead of you all, I don't want to hold any of you back."

"You're not holding anyone back April."

"I know, I know. I just don't want to be without Luke."

"I know it's hard. But you need to do what's best for you, as well as Luke."

"Did you see the cover he uploaded yesterday? How can I just forget about him when that cover was for me?"

"I know. It's going to be hard, but it's also going to be the best opportunity of your life. You're gonna have to do it. Moving back to England might be the best decision you'll ever make in your life."

"I highly doubt it," I sighed, choking on a sob, "I'm gonna have to tell Luke soon."

"Tell me what?" I turned around to see Luke leaning on the door frame.

I quickly tried to wipe my tears away. My gaze flickered to Calum.

"You're gonna have to tell him," Calum sighed.

I hesitantly stood up and walked over to Luke.

"I think we need to talk," I said while taking a shaky breath in. I rubbed my hand up and down Luke's forearm trying to sooth him. He bit his lip nervously.

"Come on then. Spill the beans," Luke said jokingly.

"I think we need to go back to yours to talk about this," I said, testing filling my eyes.

"Erm, okay," Luke said with a nervous laugh.

The walk to Luke's house wasn't like normal. We would usually be joking around, laughing, hugging and occasionally kissing. But it was nowhere near that. Luke walked fast in front of me. I tried to keep up with him, but he was taking long strides, which meant I couldn't keep up.
