All Time LowA P R I L
Christmas came and went, along with New Years and the month of January. Half of February too. Christmas was quiet just me, mum, dad, James and Poppy. It was strange Calum not being there, but he spent it with his friends.
I had to get used to Calum not being here for the majority of this year. We spent as much time as we could together, just like when I lived in Australia, as well as time apart.
Today, was the day after Valentines Day, 15th February. Today Calum, Mikey, Ashton, Sahara and I are going to see All Time Low. I'm so excited it's unbelievable. It won't be my first time seeing them live.
Considering today would be the day that Luke asked me to be his girlfriend 4 years ago, but we're not together. I'm surprisingly happy, unlike this time last year. I was more excited than anything else. Calum actually managed to get standing tickets for us all. Well, we all gave Calum the money for each ticket and he bought them.
It's scary to think that it's been nearly two years since I moved half way across the world to London. In the space of two years, a lot has changed. I've grown up so much. In my maturity and looks. Luke uploading covers has lead to 5 Seconds Of Summer being created and them being the support act for one direction.
Back to what's happening right now. It's currently 3pm, Sahara is curling my hair while I put my makeup on. Sahara had this gift that she could make anyone's hair look amazing. In return I'm going to be doing her eye makeup because according to her I slay at it.
"On a scale of one to ten how excited are you for tonight?" Sahara asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
We were sat in front of the large mirror on the wall outside my wardrobe, well I'm sitting and Sahara is kneeling. She's currently waiting for the curling iron to curl the piece of hair.
"A solid 15.7," I giggled, while I was bleeding my eyeshadow, "you?"
"16.9," she laughed, "I've never seen them before."
"They're amazing live," I smiled.
"You've saw them before?" Sahara asked, while unraveling the hair from the iron, putting it on the heatproof mat and holding the curl in her hand.
"Yeah," I blushed.
"With whom may I ask?"
"Luke," I smiled.
"Oh, right."
"You know what today is don't you?"
Sahara shook her head. She has this confused look on her face as if she's forgotten something really important.
"It would've been mine and Luke's 4th anniversary."
"Oh, April, I'm sorry it got brought it up," she said, clipping the curl in place, along with the other curls she had done so far and wrapped her arms around my waist and resting her head on my shoulder.
"It's okay, I was bound to feel like this. 4 years together would have been a mile stone but I'm over him, I'm happy for him," I sighed, forcing a smile, "it's just unfortunate that we hadn't finished things on bad terms and maybe he could've been going with us."
"Trust me honey, I would've beat his ass if he did."
"He had a nice ass," I shrugged.
"April, shut up," she laughed.
"What? I'm telling the truth," I giggled, "I probably slapped his more than he slapped mine."
"Right, that's enough, I don't want to hear anymore of this."
