Chapter 21: I'll Be There

Harry's POV

I paced in the basement like a madman waiting for it to hit me.

We were back at the house and everyone was asleep except Niall and I...which was my fault.

"Can't you put something together tomorrow morning? I need some sleep Harry, today was exhausting." Niall groaned.

It was almost 5am but I didn't care, as I needed to come up with the best first-second date idea ever.

"No, I need someone's help Niall. Can't you help me this once? I'll buy you food or something if you help me." I say, still scanning my brain for something mind boggling.

"Okay fine." Niall said, sitting up. "How about a pizza and movie? That sounds great! Now goodnight." With that, he turned and went to sleep.

Within seconds, Niall was snoring. Damn that boy could eat and sleep.

I sit on my own bed thinking hard.

Seconds pass. Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into an hour of me simply sitting and watching Niall sleep.

I really had a problem with watching people.

Fuck it. I'll just figure it out tomorrow.

Within seconds, I found myself confined within my own dreams.

"Harry. You need to get up." A voice said.

I peer out with one eye to see Jenny as she looked as if she just rolled out of bed herself.

I pull her down with me, carefully not wanting to hurt the baby.

"Ugh Harry, I need to get up. It's really late. It's literally 4 in the afternoon. Everyone else is up already." She said protesting but not budging.

I look down at her small frame to see that she was still in pajamas.

"Please love, just a few minutes." I beg, not wanting to enter the world of wake yet.

Jenny sighed. "In any other case I would've yelled at you but I'm still tired."

She was turned away from me. I wrapped my arm around her, my hand resting on her stomach, rubbing small circles into her belly.

She brought her hand to rest on mine.

"Does she move?" I whisper in her ear.

I can see Jenny's cheekbones raise into a smile.

"Yeah. He does." She replies.

She gasps and moves my hand to another spot on her belly.

"What are you doing?" I ask her.

"He's up. Wait a second and you'll feel him move." She says, I can hear the smile in her voice.

As Jenny gasps again, I feel the baby move slowly.

"Wow she is up. This may be a problem when she's here for sure. She won't give us a chance to sleep in." I say with a laugh.

Jenny chuckles. "Clearly he won't be a night rider like you Haz."

"Yeah I know. When is your next appointment anyways? I want to know if she really is a little she." I say.

"I think the day after." Jenny says, squeezing my hand.

"I'll come with you."

Jenny turned to face me, her eyes twinkled with excitement. "Really?"

That gave me an idea.

I can't help but smile. "Really. And right after that we'll go on our date."

"Thank you Harry." She said.

All I could do was kiss her on her forehead before we both drifted back into sleep.
