A Spoby Story: I'm Safe Now

Chapter 3

*morning*

Spencer's POV

I wake up with the smell of pancakes and coffee. Hmm,did Toby cook something? I put on my leggings and my everyday T-Shirt that I haven't changed for days and go downstairs. I see Toby placing the pancakes and some forks on the table.

"Good morning!" he says and smiles

"Hey! What's with all of this?" I smile

"Just breakfast for you. Come,sit." he says and puts some pancakes in my plate and then in his plate. We sit down and eat.

"Do you want to do something today? Like, I don't know.. Go to Noel Kahn's party or something?"

"Noel? Yeah,sure. I'd like to."

"Perfect. What time should I pick you up?"

"7?"

"Okay" he smiles and continues to eat his pancakes.

After we finish,I tell Toby that I need to go home to change for the party cause it's already 2 pm. As I get in the house,I see someone that I never thought I would see again.

"Wren?!" I ask fully surprised.

"Missed me,Spencah?" he says with that britt accent and gives me a smile. I try to act as normal as I can.

"What are you doing here?"

"I was thinking about you so I came to visit you." he says as he comes closer. I try to step behind but I trip and almost fall,but Wren catches me and he is staying so close to me that I can feel his warm breath. He looks into my eyes and suddenly kisses me.

"Wren.. I don't.." I try to pull away but he won't let me go and kisses me again,this time longer.

"Wren just leave me alone. I have stuff to do now. We'll talk later." And this time he lets me go and I go to my bedroom to get ready for the party. Ugh,boys. I mean,why does he like me? I'm ugly,weak,unfriendly lately and depressed. I open my closet and I see some colorful clothes. Ugh,what am I gonna wear? I haven't changed my clothes since like forever and if I take them off I will feel like betraying them. After some time,I take a short and black dress that is strapeless and some red heels to make this outfit look like I'm ready to party even if I'm not. I look in the mirror and stare at myself. I haven't seen myself in other clothes for ages. I put some mascara and lipstick on,I curl my hair and check the clock. 6:55 pm. I should go downstairs. But when I get there,Wren is still on the couch. He stares at me and I say "What?"

"You're beautiful."

I roll my eyes and then I see Toby walking in.

"Wow. Spencer you look. Amazing!"

I smile and go hug him.

"So this is your boyfriend?" Wren asks

"Who is this,Spencer?"

"He is Wren. And.. uh.. Yes. Yes ,he is my boyfriend." I say and look at Toby. He gets in the game and says "Yeah. I'm her boyfriend."

"So that's why you rejected my kiss."

I look at Toby and he looks so jelous. "It was nothing." I tell him.

"I don't believe that you two are together."

"Yes we are" we both say.

"Prove it."

I look at Toby,he looks at me and then he comes closer until he reaches my lips. Oh God.. His lips.. They are so soft and-.. When he tries to pull away,I pull him back and I give him a long and passionate kiss. It just felt so right.

"Now do you believe us?"

Wren nods and walks upstairs.

"Let's go." I tell Toby and when I look at him he is just staring at me and smiling.

"What?" I ask with a little laughter.

"You are amazing." he says and kisses me again.

I blush and kiss him back,then he takes my hand and we drive to Noel Kahn's party.
