Day (Chapter 7)

I was in pure shock after that. June was just so calm. June didn't kill my family. Eden was completely wrong about what he did and said. And after hearing what Pasco said, and what June said I knew right then and there June was the missing piece in my life. The missing piece to the puzzle. The star in the sky that was missing. My oxygen that I've been missing. How have I gone 10 years without her? Pasco drops us off at our apartment building.

"Eden, I'm going to go for a bit, but when I get back, we're going to talking about this." I begin to walk and it starts to rain out. I get into the city and look up at the jumbotron.

JUNE IPARIS LEAVING FOR WARFRONT IN FOUR DAYS

No, she can't leave. I need her. If she goes to the war front she may get killed. I run as fast as I can to her apartment in the rain. I finally make it to her apartment door. I knock and June answers the door.

"June, "She must have just gotten back from work because her hair is down, and her Republic white button up shirt and coat is unbutton. I feel myself blush.

"Haven't I hurt you enough." She has tears in her eyes and even if  I didn't see her I would know she has tears in her eyes because you could hear them in here voice.

"June, you didn't kill my family"

"Yes... "I cut her off by kissing her slowly. Putting all emotion and passion into it. I talk her face in my hand and bring her close to me.

"June, you didn't kill my family. You didn't shot my mom. Commander Jameson did. John sacrificed herself. Don't ever think you killed them because you didn't" She has tears running down her face. I wipe the tears away. She looks so beautiful. She looks so vulnerable, sincere and with her guard down. I lean in to kiss her again. June responds right away. Her lips on mine. Just feel's so right. Her arms wrap around my neck and attack my hair. I run out of breath and pull away, but kiss her neck. She signs when I kiss behind her ear. Without even thinking I scoop her up in my arms. Her legs around my waist and carry her to the bedroom. I push off her button up shirt and republic coat. She starts to unbutton my shirt. I smile.

" I love you June. So much."I break from the kiss and just hug her.

"I love you too Day" She looks into my eyes. I start into her eyes. It's as if I'm staring at stars because her eyes are sparkling because the lighting is coming through the window. I lean back in to kiss her and we fall back into a passionate, kiss and we fall in the night alone into our own place.
