June ( Chapter10)

I head to Anden's office. It doesn't take that long, considering his building is also downtown. I head up to his office and knock.

"Come in"

"Ele..."I get cut off.

"June, haven't I told you to call me Anden, and you didn't need to knock. You got the war plans?" I shake my head. I take a seat at the table. "All of them?" He asks. I raise an eyebrow and shake my head. "That was fast." I lay down all the plans. I show him what I've planned. Like how the army will attack and a bunch of other things. For example, I want to keep a good amount of the soldiers in town's to keep the people safe. "June, these are great ideas. I still think you would be amazing in the senate" He says with a smile.

"Anden,  the senate isn't really for me. I would get sick of the people fight about laws or budgets" Anden laughs.

" Oh, it does get annoying, but them fighting will never change. Anyways, these plans look amazing, and I have no doubt we will win. By the way, you look beauitful," I'm in pure shock. Sure, me and  Anden dated, but we came to the agreement, that I could never really love him that way he wanted me to. Even after these years were still just friends. He has wanted to get back together, but I always said no.  I know harsh, but there was only one person I was in love with. "Thank you" I smile and nod my head. " Well, I think I'll be on my way. I have a training session in 30 minutes" I rise from my seat. Anden gets up and walks me out. I wasn't surprised that he walked me out of his office, but what surprised me more was he walked me all that way to my car.

"Well, see you Anden" I smile. Anden looks at my lips, then at my eyes. Out of now where he leans in and meets my lips. I'm in shock but knock back into reality when his hands reach my waist. I push him away.

"Why?"

"I'm with Day," I say not beating around the bush.

"He's been gone for ten years. He hasn't got a memory of you. When he left you were so depressed. You smile was gone for weeks. I can make you happy, June" Anden says and walks closer.

"Anden, we came to the agreement that we could be friends and nothing more. Have a good day, Anden" I open my car door and start the car and drive away. I take a deep breath as I drive. I run back inside throw on my training clothes and run the training session that was scheduled. By, the end of the class I feel terrible. I walk into the locker room and I see my face is pale and flushed. Great, I'm sick. I shower and throw on my uniform. I get back to my office and try to do some paperwork.
