" How dare you treat my best friend like that!" Tess yells. Tess just found out how I treated June and she is outraged.
" Tess..." I get cut off.
" June has had no family for ten years. She's wished for her Mom and Dad, and her brother. You go and say she never deserved them. That's was wrong." Tess didn't yell any those words, but it was worst then her yelling because I could hear the disgust in her voice. With that, she slams the door in my face.If it wasn't for me holding onto the door I would have crumpled to the ground. Hot tears are running down my face. I pull away from the door and walk back to my apartment. I walk in and go straight to my bed and fall asleep. I wake up to feeling sore and still tired. It was like that for about a week because I couldn't stop thinking about Tess and how I lost her. At the end of the week, I had enough of this. I walked over to Tess's place.Tess answered the door.
" Tess..." I get cut off
" What?" Tess's answer, but not a rude way. Just in a way to get to the point.
" Tess, I just want to tell you what I did to June was wrong. I reacted in anger and I was a monster. I didn't know what overcame me, but it was wrong. I would never do that to you. I wouldn't be able to say those things to you or hurt you like that. I would never forgive myself if I did that to you. Just, please give me second chance to show you I would never do that to you and I can be better.
Tess looks at me with tears " I will give you another chance, but I'm not giving you another."
I smile and give her a hug " I won't another one" I whisper in her ears. I kiss Tess go bye. Tess smiles as I'm walking away. Tonight, I can sleep in peace knowing I got the girl of my dreams.
June and Day's wedding
I see Tess walk down and she looks beautiful. She is in a soft blue long dress. Her hair is a low bun like June's. As Day and June are saying there vows all I think about is I'm going to ask Tess to marry me. I bought the ring a few days ago and I have been waiting for the perfect moment. Then, I got the idea to ask at June and Day's wedding. I asked first to make sure it was. They loved the idea. I look over to Day and he gives he a smile saying it's time. I walk over to Tess and get down on one knee. Tess's eyes widen.
" Tess, I know I've haven't been perfect and you deserve someone that will always treat you like a queen, but I can't let you go. You're the nicest, most giving and selfless person I have ever meant. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me, Tess?" Tess has the biggest smile on her face.
" Yes, I will" I slip the ring on her finger and kiss her. Everyone claps. With that June and Day run down the stage, with us following them.

One month later
Today's, the day I married to Tess. It's so surreal to me that I'm marrying, such an amazing girl. After, the way I treated her I never thought she would forgive me, or even marry me. I'm fixing me tie right now, but it's kind of hard with my shaking hands. I'm so nervous and I don't even know why. I take a deep breath, but that doesn't even calm me down. I see in the mirror Day comes into the room. June and Day have been married for a month now and there as happy as two people can be. Whenever, you see then together there always smiling. Day pats me on the back.
