Day ( Chapter 9)

We make it to work within ten minutes. June punches in and a captain say's the soilders are in the training room. We enter the training room. June goes right into commander mode.

"Line!" She yells. They run to their lines. I just stay in the back and watch this all play out. While she is walking to the front she is talking.

"I hope you all got lots of sleep because this week is a big week. We're going to war with Australia very soon and we need to get you guys trained and ready for w..." June stops in mid-sentences. June's jaws hardens. I look and I see an idiot laughing.

"What's so funny?" June yells. He just continues to laugh " Tell me what's so funny. Maybe, I'll laugh."

" You're taking this a bit to serious"

"A bit to serious. You don't  think protecting the lives isn't serious, because it is. Why don't you show some respect to the people of the Republic and fellow soldiers and yourself, If you can't even show respect maybe your not cut out to be in the military. Captain Beckett!" June yells. "Can you please escort him out the building, please" He nods grabs him by the elbow and drags him out."You show respect to everyone. And if you don't its as easy as throwing you out the military. I would like to welcome are new Captain, Captain Wing. You show respect to him. No questions asked. You are dismissed to your posts" I'm in shock, because June looked so in charge, and intimating. 

"Woah"

"Woah, what?" June raises an eyebrow.

"Just never seen you like that"

"You've never seen me work before Day"

"Good point" She walks out of the training room while I follow. We walk down a hall take a few turns and we stop at a door that has my name on the right side.

Captain Daniel Wing 

All bolded. She opens the office door and it's an average office. Desk,chair and filing cabinet. "Here's your office. There's..."June stops in mid-sentence and put her hand up to her ears her mic comes out.

"Commander June Iparis...Yes....Now?....Why?...fine give me ten minutes" She ends the call and huffs. "I've got to head into the city and talk to Anden about war plans." Right, when she said his name I get jealous. I remember reading some articles some years back about how they dated. "Day?" She snaps her finger in front of my face. "You ok?"

"What is Anden to you?"

"Huh?"She asks confused.

"Aden, what is he to you?"I ask with a hint of jealousy in my voice.

"He means nothing to me other than a friend. Day, your the most important person in my life". I instantly soften at her words.

"I'm going to head out." June says while walking out of the room. I follow her like a puppy on a leash. Her office is much bigger than mine. She has paper and books every were. She takes her hat off and sets it on her office desk. She starts looking through some papers.

"What are you looking for?"

"War plans to discuss with Aden" I find it very entertaining to see June in her element. All serious and focus. Looking for walk papers she wants to bring.

"When are you going to be back?"

"Maybe an hour or so"

"What should I do when you gone"

"I was about to tell you before the call. I left some paperwork on your desk." She grabs her papers "Well, I better go."

"June" I draw her close. I lead in to meet her lips. Pull away. The kiss is short and sweet. "Bye June,"I see her face is pink. I tap her nose with my finger. "You look cute when you blush"Which causes her to blush even more."Well, you better go"I let go of her and she walks away hiding her face like, she is shy. After June leaves I head to my office. 

( Really liked the fanart. Just an FYI I didn't draw that. I'm a terrible drawer)
