June (Chapter 13)

With one last look at Day. I close the door and start to head to war front. To say I'm not nervous wouldn't be true. Sure, I'm not shaking nervous, but I have a weird feeling in my stomach. I push away that feeling because I can't let that get in the way. Everyone is counting on me to lead us to victory.

I get knocked out of thoughts " Command Iparis were here" I nod. I put on my helmet that had night vision on it. Everyone files out of the trunk. It's rain currently, and it's dark outside, so I put on my night vision on. It will take about an hour, till Austraila's whole army arrives. So we got time to set up. After about fifteen minutes I get a call about that are tanks and fighter planes are ready when we need them. Everything is ready and now we just wait. We wait about 30 minutes, till I heard something in the air and realize it's a bomb.

" BOMB COMING IN!" I yell. Everyone runs in the other direction. Right, when the bomb touches the ground. I fall forwards to the ground. I must have not gotten far enough away from the bomb, but everyone else is fine. I heard shouting and people running in our direction. It's the Austrian army coming.

"ATTACK!" My army runs forward. I call for all are tanks and fighter planes. Those get here very fast and start knocked out the enemies army. I run into combat and start taking down men. One tries to shoot at me, but I shoot him before he gets the chance. Another tries, but I'm I'm faster. This goes on for while. Are fight planes are doing an amazing job. There making this war easy for us on the ground. With the help of the tanks and fighter planes and the rest of army were are able to push back Austraila far back.  We keep them pushed back for while, till a bomb hits the ground. I heard men screaming out in pain. Without even thinking I run over to them to help them. We get all the men that were injured to the infirmary.  I run back the war front, after we got them injured men to the infirmary. I get there rather fast. I see were slowly pushing them back, but some are breaking away where we don't have a lot of soldiers pushing them back. I run over to push them back, but that wasn't a smart decision. I don't realize that before it's too late. There are about ten Australian soldiers. I shoot one, but the others grab me and start dragging me away. I scream and try to break away from their hold, but one puts a hand over my mouth and throws me in the trunk. I hit my head really hard on the car floor, which caused me to black out.

A Few hours later 

I wake to my head throbbing. I open my eyes but close them because it's really bright in the room, due to the deadly bright lights. I finally get used to the lights and open my eyes fully. I'm in a small, four walled room. That has been painted white, no windows, but one thing notice is a clock. It has an Austraila logo in the middle of it.Crap! I was captured. No! I've failed my country. I have to get out here. I pull on the ropes, there were tied so terrible. After, about five minutes of pulls on them my hands are free. Then, I free my legs. I rise from my free as if my mom called me for dinner. I run to the door and try to open it, but its lock. Suddenly, the door opens and causes me to fall. A tall man in uniform, which you can tell he is commander and two other soldiers walk in.

" Tie her you idiots!" The commander hisses. They grab me not so gently. Not, that I was surprised. I try to get to get out the hold but fail. They throw me in the chair. They tie my arms together, then my legs. Once I'm tied up the commander speaks.

" Well, well, well. Look who we have. The legendary Commander June Iparis from the wonderful Republic." He smiles " You both are dismissed" The two soldiers leave " Once I found out we had you I was in shock. The commander of Republic. Sweetheart of the Republic. Prize jewel of the Republic has been captured. Image the headlines. Here's how it's going to go Ms.Iparis" He snaps. " I'm going to ask you some questions and you going to answer," I roll my eyes. He slaps me, rather hard. I tighten my jaws, so I wouldn't grunt in pain. " First question Ms.Iparis. How is your military-run?"  I would never answer any of his questions. I swore as Commander I would never give any information like that no matter what. It would cost people of the republic their lives, Anden's life, Pasco's life, Tess's life, Eden's life, and Day's life. I promised him I would stay alive and come back home. I may never see him again. I've failed Day. Question after question comes at me. Never once did I answer a question, but damn I'm in so much pain. He yells out in frustration because I haven't answered a single question. He continues with the questions, till I black out.
