After hours of paperwork, I finally finish all of it. I walk out into hallway, and it's really quiet and vacant. I wonder if June is back. It's been about three hours since she left. I open on June's office door. There's no answer, so I walk in. I see a working June who looks tired and very sick. She's pale and flushed.
"June, you ok?" I ask while walking to her. June just continues working and just answers in a "yep" while writing furiously. I look at what she is working at and I'm not surprised war plans. Did Anden and her even talk about the plans? I put my hand to her forehead and pull it away fast.
"June your burning up. Why don't we go home and get some rest."
"Day, not right now." She says in an annoyed tone of voice. I roll my eyes. Why does she have to be so stubborn, I pick her up and throw her over my shoulder;
΅Day!" June yells and punches my back. I grab her key and walk to the car. I put her seat. I walk over the driver's seat. We make it back to June apartment within ten minutes. I look over and June is dead asleep. I go over and pick her up and bring her inside. I set her on couch, Funny, how she hasn't woken you yet. I pick a blanket over her and her head on a pillow. I go to the kitchen and try to make her some soup. Key word tired. Without burning I was able to warm up the soup. I grabbed a grab of water, and brought it to her. I sit down on the couch. June was on her back with her hands over her eyes.
" June, I made you some soup" I shake her.
She groans and rolls on her stomach " Not hungry"
" June"
"No" Why does she have to be so stubborn.
" Will you aleast drink some water?" She props herself on elbows, and the water and glups its down. Sets down the glass and plops back down on the couch. I chuckle and scoop her up. I walk to the bedroom. Lay June down on the bed. I crawl in next and pull her to me. I slowly drift off to sleep.
