The problem with knowing what is wrong or right is that one does not truly know the answer until it is too late.
Elizabeth: I think that I will pop a blood vessel if I stay here any longer. James is driving me crazy and he hasn't even made me do anything to make up for the TV mishap.
"Liz looks angry Onii-chan..." I groan and slam a pillow against my face, trying to hide myself from them.
"Stop talking about me..." I don't even care if they hear me or not. I hate my life right now, it is so messed up. Well you're the one who spilled your whole drink onto his white dress shirt! He was so pissed... I push the pillow closer to my face. I wish I could become a pillow.
"She's embarrassed Onii-chan." I throw the pillow at Zoey, hoping for a direct hit on her face. Sadly Xileth catches the pillow mid-air and glares at me as he puts the pillow down.
"Why did you throw that at her?" Xileth watches me closely, seeming to calculate my every move.
"She was annoying me..." I look at the ground and mumble, hoping he wouldn't hear me.
"Told you she was funny Onii-chan."
"That's it!" I stand up and glare at Zoey before storming off to my room, slamming the door before falling onto my bed. "I hate it here..." I push myself deeper into my bed, hoping to disappear.
"That hurts you know." I slowly turn my head and look up at James, standing in the doorway. He clutches his heart and feigns pain.
"And why would I care what hurts you? You have been annoying as hell to me!" James lets out a laugh before nodding at me.
"You spilled the drink on me but I will remember that you don't care what hurts me." I gulp as he gives me an icy glare. "Anyway, I have an important meeting to go to so I won't be back until late tonight. Please don't touch anything unless you know how it works. I also made the TV not call people so you can watch something instead of getting into another... awkward situation."
"Thanks..." James nods before turning around and walking down the hallway. As he walks further down he slowly disappears until there is no one left in the hallway.
"Liz! Liz! Liz!" I sigh as Zoey runs down the hallway and stops in my doorway. Why can't I get some peace in this place?
"You know I have been wondering," I stand up and stand in front of Zoey. "How come you act like a little kid around Xileth but when he isn't around you are super smart and sneaky?" Zoey gives me an award winning smile before shrugging and pulling me down the hallway. "Where are you bringing me?" Zoey stops in front of James' room.
"You said that map didn't help. Maybe there is a better one in there." That is true... the map I got before only gave some land of the surrounding area...
"Good idea Zoey. Can you have Xileth keep watch while I check the room?" Zoey nods and runs off shouting for Xileth, back into 'sister mode'. I shut my eyes and take a deep breath before opening the door.
Inside the room there are boxes stacked next to bookshelves. I cautiously step into the carpeted room, the floor an amazing assortment of colors. In seconds I am thoroughly searching his room, the boxes only containing books and the bookshelves only containing more useless books.
"Help me." I quickly turn, expecting to see someone behind me. I look around the open room, looking at everything carefully as I stand in the center of the room. I sigh and shake my head, laughing softly. Calm down Liz... No one is there... I shake my head again and continue to search the room. His closet has a plethora of formal clothes while his drawers have 'normal' clothes. I hate this so much, I can't believe I am searching through James' room right now...
