Hey everyone!
In this chapter, Jeff's past is finally going to be discovered. I guess most of you already know it, as it's coming from the famous CreepyPasta. I've tried to tell that story in a shorter way, but, as it's still quite long, this chapter is cut into two parts. Also, it exists a lot of versions of this creepypasta, so please do not correct every single details in the comment lol. I haven't used the most famous one.
Here is part 1, part 2 is going to be published tomorrow!
Enjoy :)
Xx

Emilie's pov

Anders seems taken aback by my demand to know Jeff's past. I know that he told me not to ask him about that topic, or even not to ask Jeff himself, but I need to know, I deserve to know. I'm involved with him since some months, and I still don't know how he has become the way he is. Moreover, I need to know it if I want to leave this place - and him - definitely. I know that if I don't, I'll always think about it. I need to run away and leave him completely.

So here I am, waiting for his answer desperately. By the way I look at him with all the determination I have, I'm sure he won't just push my demand away.

"Are you sure of that?" He carefully asks after long minutes, as if I wasn't sure of me, before heading to a different room.

"Yes, I'm totally sure." I reply, following him.

We arrive in a room I've never noticed before across the hall, which only contains a desk, a chair and a wardrobe. A lot of papers are on the floor and on the desk in a messy way. Anders opens the wardrobe and looks for something in it. After three minutes of searching, he finally finds what he was looking for. I look at him curiously when he hands me a box full of documents. I carefully open it to reveal old articles and old newspapers, with some pages marked. I look at Anders in confusion.

"Why are you giving me that?"

"You'll find Jeff's past inside this box. Take care of it, and please, give it back to me after you've found what you wanted."

And with that, he's gone, leaving me alone in this strange room.

Curiosity fills me in that moment, so I get up and head to my room urgently with the box. I'm so eager to read all of these articles. I'll finally be able to know Jeff a little more! Even if I shouldn't be so happy to understand him better, strangely, I am. I guess he's so mysterious that I'm glad to know some parts of his privacy. And I've always been dying to know how he has become the way it is.

After sitting on my bed, I carefully open the box again. Inside of it, there are a lot of articles and newspapers, but a photo too. I take the photo in my hand first and analyze it. It's burnt in some parts, especially in the corners, and the colors have disappeared a little. However, I can still look at it.

There is a good looking white house, and four people in front of it. A beautiful brown haired woman, a strict looking man, and two children. It seems to be a photo of the common family, the one you can see every day, the one who has no problem in life. Even the children seem perfectly common. One has brown hair and his wearing a green hoodie, whereas the other one has lighter hair and his wearing a bright blue shirt. They are so different, but both seem cute, even though the brown haired one seems older than the other one, and has a strange sadness in his eyes. I look at it even more, curious by the taller children. He seems to be 12 or 13 in the photo. His blue eyes, his smile, his hair, his type of clothes...something about him seems familiar.

And then it clicks.
This child must be Jeff.

Curiosity raises in me, but is quickly replaces with horror. He has a good family, two parents and a cute young brother. Where are they now?
I'm so shocked right now. I thought he was an orphan or something like that. I thought his lack of family might have been the reason of his insanity, but no. He has a family, a house, a normal life. To me, it sounds like he had everything to be happy, to be...normal.

What could have possibly happened? He seems so....normal in this photo. Well, except his sad eyes. I recognize the sadness I sometimes see in his eyes when he loses his temper. How could he be sad when he had a family around him?

I carefully put the photo next to me on the bed, before looking at the articles. I instantly feel fear when I read one of the title "A FULL FAMILY KILLED BY ONE OF ITS SON".

After a long time of hesitation, I decide to read it. As well as the others.
It takes me more than two hours to read everything, the articles, the newspapers, and to analyze the only photo I have.

I learnt everything about him, Anders has found a lot of evidence about his past. I've discovered his full name, Jeffrey Woods, his school, his former house, his moving, his bullying in his former and new school. A tear has threatened to fall when I learnt that Jeff has mostly been bullied all his life. Of course he's different, but still. An article says that, even when he was really young, he liked to kill small animals. These thoughts made me shiver. He was a psycho even when he was young, but I can't help but feel sad for him.

He was bullied all his life, and in his new house, things went worst.

One day, while going to the bus station with his little brother, Liu, a group of bullies came to them. They tried to steal Jeff and Liu's money, but Jeff chose to defend his brother and himself this time. For once, he fought back. And maybe that was the start of Jeff The Killer. He liked what he did, and I think he badly injured one of the child - I'm not sure because the newspapers didn't agree about it. The other bullies ran away, as well as Liu and Jeff. They didn't want to be in trouble...

But they were. Someone - perhaps one of the neighbors - called the police, and when they came back from school, policemen were in their house with their parents. Jeff was going to confess, but Liu took the blame. He confessed to the policemen, and Jeff seemed depressed by it - well, that's what the article says.

While Liu was in juvenile jail, the family had to live a normal life, well, faked it. Jeff was left alone without his brother, and he had no one to talk to. Some days after this event, one of the neighbor of the Woods family threw a party for his child, and Jeff had to accompany his parents, even though he didn't want to. He chose a dark gray hoodie and a black pants to wear (I shiver at that statement, he still wears similar clothes). The woman there asked him if he wanted to play with the children in the yard and he did it. The play helped him to take his mind off of Liu, until he heard a weird noise.

The three children that bullied him and his brother at the bus station were there too. They were angry because one of their friends had been injured by Jeff, and Jeff was furious because they sent his brother, his only friend, to jail. The bullies wanted revenge.
They punched Jeff, head butted him, until Jeff responded. The small children who played with Jeff were screaming and running everywhere in the house, while the parents arrived in the garden.

One of the bullies, Randy, took of guns from his pocket, and said "No one interrupts or guts will fly!". After some more fights - Jeff seemed to be beaten very badly, he could have died easily -Randy screamed "Come on Jeff, fight me!" He picked Jeff up and threw him into the kitchen. Randy saw a bottle of vodka on the counter and smashed the glass over the poor Jeff's head.
He continued to injure him and screamed things to make him more furious, to make him fight back like the time he did at the bus station.

"I was the one who got your brother sent to JDC! And now you're just gonna sit here and let him rot in there for a whole year! You should be ashamed!"
That was when something snapped definitely in Jeff's mind. He fought back, enjoying it, and easily killed Randy while the parents, children and other bullies watched them fight, frozen in place. The two others bullies started to point their guns at Jeff and fired on him.

He ran upstairs to the bathroom, and the others followed him. They punched him against the wall, making a bleach thing fell from the top shelf, burning them. They screamed and wiped their eyes, but one child laughed evilly. When Jeff asked him why he was laughing, he simply answered "You're covered in bleach and alcohol."

And with that, he threw a lighter from his pocket at Jeff, burning him alive. He ran down screaming and fell on the stairs, nearly dead, while some parents were trying to extinguish the flames and his mother was screaming loudly.

And that's when everything start.
