Hi guys! I hope you're ready for this long chapter, because it's the longest I've ever written here. I just couldn't cut it into two parts, and I want to write more actions and scenes in each chapters. So expect longer chapters from now on.
Anyway, thanks for being here, and enjoy :)

Jeff's pov

Now that Emilie's fully gone (I watched her leaving the woods, and this poor girl got lost), I can come home safely. I don't want her to know where I live, because I can't allow her to visit me if she wants to argue with me or fight me. I'm the one who has the power to meet her when I want to, not the contrary.

I hear my phone ringing, and I'm surprised to see a hidden number on the screen. It's obviously not my phone, I stole it to one of my victims. Poor boy didn't need it anymore as he lost his two hands. I use it only to call gangs or spies if I need to, but truth is, I haven't called them for a long time.

After the last ring, the person calls once again, and it's starting to get on my nerves. Fuck off! It must be a call center trying to sell me something, as I used a relation to change the localization of the phone and every data, so now one, even the police can't find it.

It's ringing once again. Okay, I'm mad now.

"What?!!" My scream fills the whole house for a while, and nothing can be heard from the other side of the line. Good, I must have scared him enough to let me live in peace.

When I'm about to hang up, I hear a laugh. "Jeff, is that really you?"
I immediately recognize the voice.

"Anders, what the fuck. How did you find me?!" I'm sure he can feel anger in my voice, but I can't help it. He betrayed me with Emilie, and now he's spying on me.

"You really thought I wouldn't find you? I'm sad to hear that, Jeffrey."

"Don't call me that." I'm about to press the red button but he must have heard my hand moving.

"Wait wait! I just want to talk okay. I'm not going to scream at you for leaving, you're an adult after all."

"Of course I am. But don't think of getting me back, I do what I please."

"I know, I know. Just listen to me, okay? I just want to be sure that Emilie's safe, and that you didn't do anything stupid."

"So that's it." Anger is rising inside of me. "You're only concerned about her! How long have you two been in contact? How long have you played that game with me?"

"Jeff, I know you're mad." His voice is steady and serious. Anders never gets angry, never shows his emotions out loud. "It was for her safety. She wanted to live a normal life, so I had to hide the truth from you."

My heart stops when I realize what he has just said. Her escaping, her new life. She couldn't do that all by herself, right?

"Anders...please tell me the truth. Are you the one who helped her escape?"

"Jeff, I-"

I cut him off. "Just answer."

"I did. She asked to and I-"

"I don't want to talk to you anymore." I cut him off before placing my hand on the red button.

"Jeff please listen! I need to explain it to you."

Hesitation has been filling me for minutes, but I finally give in. I want to know so bad, and I'll regret it if I don't let him talk. "Fine, go ahead."

"She was sad, you know. You kidnapped her, you made her life terrible. You killed in front of her and you trapped her inside my manor."

"I know that!" I scream, losing my temper once again.
