Jeff's pov

As I'm walking in silence with Anders and the others, all I can hear is our soft breaths and our feet crushing the dirty ground. Sometimes, we could hear someone cursing about falling because of a rock or something. Indeed, we are in absolute darkness, as lights are too dangerous. To me, it's not a problem at all. I'm used to walking in the dark and disappearing in it. For the others – including Anders, it's a little more difficult. But it's a necessity; we still don't know who will be waiting for us after all.

We can see the warehouse coming closer and closer now, until it is finally only some kilometers away from us. We all stop in our track, and Anders motions for them to lay on the ground to stay hidden. Everybody does it in a second, and we now have plenty of room to analyze our surroundings.

The warehouse is all dark and dirty, and it looks like a ruin. I wonder how Gary managed to hide there for more than two weeks, because it seems to me that it can fall down because of the wind. Next to it is the continuous of the road we are parked on. The thing that surprises me the most is that there's just one car parked in front of the warehouse. Did his men come by foot? Or by plane? It's so strange! Are they hidden somewhere? Are they waiting for us? No, they can't be. It seems to have surprised Anders too, because he moves his head left and right repeatedly, certainly looking for a clue of where are the men. Gary couldn't possibly hide there all alone, while he is aware that we'll come to finish him off! The strange feeling warning me of something bad comes back again, stronger this time. He can't be alone there, or else he just wants to die. And I'm sure it's not the reason.

"Maybe that's a trap." Anders states, looking worried. I laugh a little in reply, Gary's not smart enough to plan a trap on us!

"There's only one way to know." I conclude, taking a step closer to the warehouse.

"Jeff!" Anders whispers-yells to me, ordering me to come back. But I won't listen. I'm too much excited about all this. My hands are shaking in anticipation, and I'm already having a deep grip on my knife. I'm so impatient to plug it into his dirty heart, and cut him into pieces! I don't care if it's risky, no one can beat me.

I feel movement behind me, and I guess Anders has decided to follow me even if I'm dumb. I smile, he just won't leave me alone and I appreciate that.

When I finally reach the ruined warehouse, I analyze my surroundings again. There's really no other vehicle around it, and there's no sound inside of it. Is he really alone? He's always surprising me with his stupidity. Well, it'll be easier to kill him! I even feel a little disappointed by that, I'd have loved to have a huge killing, it's been so long since I had one. Since I found Emilie again, to be exact.

I finally find the entrance, and stay in front of it for a moment, to let the others catching up with me. When Anders finally arrives, he looks at me like he wants to scold me from abandoning them earlier, but I just don't care. I'm so impatient.

"Are you in?" I ask in a whisper, and he nods. He then turns around to look at his men and see if they are all ready. When he thinks everything is okay, he turns back to face me, takes a deep breath, and places a hand on the iron huge door.

"Of course I'm in." He replies with sarcasm as if it was a stupid question. I place my hand next to his, before counting down with him. "3....2....1..."
