"Amon? You recorded that talk you and Kaneki had, right?" Arima asked.

"Yes. Why?" Amon replied.

"Then that means you've found his hideout." Akira realized.

"He might have moved on a long time ago." Amon told the two.

"It's still a lead." Arima shrugged. "If you can remember, lead us there."

"Guys! Guys! I got great news!" Hide cheered, running through the crowd.

People stared at him weirdly, but Hide ignored them as he glomped Ned.

"Wha-! What are you doing!?" Ned choked as he stumbled, trying to pry Hide's arms off his neck.

Lily stared, blinking, before laughing at the misery of Ned.

"Hey! You're next, so quit laughing!" Hide grinned.

"Wha-" Lily couldn't finish before Hide leapt from Ned and clung onto Lily.

"Hey! This isn't fair! I'm a girl! I can't hold-" Lily stumbled, trying desperately to keep her balance.

Hide laughed, but eventually climbed off of the girl.

"So, what's the news? It has to be good if you're tackling us from behind." Ned smiled.

"I didn't tackle you! If I tackled you, you'd be on the ground." Hide huffed. "And the news is good! Kaneki agreed that you guys can come visit him! I'll lead you there!"

"What?! Really?!" Lily gasped. "But I thought we couldn't since the CCG might find him."

"Well, it doesn't really matter anymore." Hide sighed. "Amon found his hideout a while ago. They haven't made any moves as of now, so Kaneki has no reason to relocate just yet."

"Then we'll take you up on that offer!" Ned agreed. "It'll feel good to see him again!"

Hide grinned and laughed.

Delia pretended not to notice her son scramble around the house, more excited then he'd been in weeks.

She pretended not to notice how he was desperate to leave the house as soon as possible.

She pretended not to notice how he'd always glance at the clock as if it was counting down the seconds he had to live.

As he left the house, waving goodbye to her, Delia waved back, but she didn't know whether to feel scared or happy.

She pretended not to notice. She did, though.

She noticed how he scrambled about the house. She noticed how he was desperate to leave as soon as possible. She noticed how he glanced at the clock every second.

She noticed it all.

She didn't know what it all added up to.

Lily twitched with anticipation as she followed Hide.

Ned was tense and had a faint feeling of static around him.

"You guys seriously need to calm down." Hide chuckled as he glanced at the two.

"It feels like forever since I've seen him!" Ned whined.

"Agreed." Lily raised her hand.

"Still, you guys are acting like five year olds at Disney World." Hide said.
