Anakin's p.o.v.
I see her once sparkling brown eyes flutter shut. I put my hand on her forehead and begin to sob.

"No........." I whisper.

What have I done? I've killed the one I've loved ever since I was only a mere boy. How could I have done this?! How could I have gotten so jealous?! I'm such an idiot.

I look at her face.

She looks so peaceful. I can't let that happen again. I have to leave, and never come back. I can't bare to hurt anyone like that again. Ever.

She suddenly starts to cough, and I grab her and cradle her in my arms. "Ani...." She whispers.

"It's okay, I'm getting help." I say as I reach for a communicator. "Obi-Wan, please come quickly. Olivia's been hurt." I panic.

"Calm down Anakin, we'll be right over." He responds, and hangs up. I rock her back and forth as I sob. "I'm so sorry.....I'm so....so sorry."

She reaches up her hand and bushes her finger tips against my cheek. "It's alright.....it was an accident."

How can she be so kind?! I almost killed her?! How can she forgive me?!

"But......but I almost killed you."

"And I've almost killed you," she smiles "I guess you could say we're even." She laughs, but winces immediately afterwards.

Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, and medical droids bust through the door. I see the horrified looks on my Masters faces as they rush towards us.

"What happened?!" Mace yells.

"I-"

"It was an assassination attempt. Anakin fought him off, but he ended up escaping. If it weren't for Anakin, I'd be dead," she starts before wincing in pain "I'd suggest you show a little appreciation."

"Come on, let's get her to the hospital." One of the droids say and they put her on a stretcher.

"Ani, promise me you'll be there." She says wearily, and I nod.

"We're right behind you."
At the hospital.............

Everyone showed up at the hospital. Not only the Masters and Senators who knew her, but Padmé's family came, and a Padawan named Aro.

The moments replay inside my head. I just....I just can't believe I did that. Someone that I would die for......I almost killed.

Then Palpatine walked in, and sat beside me. "I know what happened, Anakin." He whispers to me, and I glance at him.

"I-I don't know what happened. I just.....I just went crazy."

"I love you like a son Anakin, and as a Father always tells his son what is right, I'm telling you that you can not be with her." He says.

I knew he was right. I can't keep her in my life. As much as I want to, I could kill her.

"I know."

"I suggest a few weeks after the wedding, so that she can have a little more time with you before you leave."

I nod in response. I had to end it, but not until after the wedding.

There was no way we would last.

The Doctor comes out, and I stand up faster than anyone.

"Is she going to be alright?" I ask frantically, and Obi-Wan puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Well......as far as we know.......no."

I feel my heart stop. No?! What does he mean no?! Tears form in my eyes.

"Unless we take her into surgery."

Oh thank the Force.

"What kind of surgery?" Obi-Wan asks.

"Well, whoever stabbed her hit some of the wires that were connected to her heart. In fact, it completely destroyed them. We have to give her a new heart in order for her to even have a chance of living again."

I sigh and close my eyes. "How much of a chance does she have of surviving this?" I ask with a shaky voice.

"Out of 100.................10." I bite my lip and look at the ground. "But it's better than none at all. We will do our very best. She should be done in about 5 hours. You can leave or stay, but we will let you know." He says.

"Thank you, Doctor." Windu says, and the Doctor leaves.

"Come outside." I whisper to Obi-Wan, and he follows me out the hospital into the rain.

We stand under the cover that is over the hospital entry way, and he looks at me.

"Anakin...." He looks at me with sympathy, and then I can't hold it in.

I begin to sob uncontrollably, and I hug Obi-Wan.

"I did it! It was me! I was the one who stabbed her!" I yelled in his shoulder.

"What?" He asks softly.

"I'm sorry! Padmé lied to me and said she was cheating with you! I lost control Master! I'm sorry!" I shouted again.

"It's alright Anakin. She'll make it through. She loves you more than anything." I say nothing but continue to sob. He lets go of me and grabs my shoulders.

"You love her right?" He asks, and I nod.

"I'd die for her." I respond as I sniff.

"Then don't give up on her." He responds, and I nod.

Olivia's p.o.v.

I heard Anakin's voice say to me through the Force. "I need you to count down from 10." One of the nurses says, and I nod.

"10.....9.....8..........7............6................5." I start.

I won't give up on you Anakin. I love you.

And it all goes black.

Anakin's p.o.v.
We are back in the waiting room, and I sit leaning back with my head on the wall, staring at the floor.

I won't give up on you Anakin. I love you.

I hear her voice say, and a tear rolls down my cheek.

I love you too.

Olivia's p.o.v.

You know when you go into surgery, and people say there is a bright light there?

Or sometimes someone close to you will be there to talk to you?

I didn't get either of those.

"Hello, my daughter."
