Louis kept kissing me, holding my waist tightly and moving his other hand so it was around my back. My hands had wound themselves around his neck to pull his head closer. Our lips were moving in sync, as if both were joyous to be reunited together.

“Okay, lovebirds. Break it up,” Harry came, pulling us away from each other.

“Harry!” Louis protested.

“Louis! There are kids here. I was sparing their innocence. You two were about to undress each other right here in the middle of the aisle,” he said, throwing two boxes of pasta in the cart.

“We were not!” I defended, the blood rising to my cheeks. Harry chuckled. “Let’s just go.”

“I call paying!” Harry called from behind me.

“What? No! Liam is.”

“Liam’s not here,” Harry mumbled, confused.

“I hope he isn’t here,” I heard Louis say, followed by laughing from both boys.

“No. Liam’s not here. But his credit card is,” I explained, waving the card in the air.

“Oh! Can I get a bean bag chair now?” Louis yelped.

“Knock yourself out, Lou. We’ll be at register three,” I told him. Louis responded with cheering and took off sprinting to the toy aisle. Harry and I started to put stuff up on the register, the cashier ringing up the groceries as they came to her. Louis came back five minutes later with four beanbags clutched in his hand. “Louis! I thought you were getting one!”

“I was! But then I figured, let’s get one for every member of Team Loner!” he cheered. I glared at him as the cashier rang up four beanbags. She told me the price, and I handed her Liam’s card. I was going to be lectured when we got home. Oh well.

“Boys! Help me put the stuff in the car,” I yelled.

“Do we have to?”

“Yeah! We already had to help buy everything! Now we have to help put them away too?” They complained.

“Yes! Please,” I said, putting on puppy dog eyes. Louis was the first to give in. He grabbed three bags and placed them in the trunk, the bean bags following.

“I hope we can fit all this in the house,” Harry mumbled, carrying a few bags to the car.

“I’ll make it fit,” I said, putting the bread up in the front seat so it wouldn’t get crushed.

Harry giggled like a school boy. “Harry, you and your dirty mind need to go get more groceries!” I scolded. Louis laughed and closed the trunk, pushing the cart back to the building.

“Well it took you both long enough,” Harry congratulated.

“I don’t know what you mean,” I said, starting the car.

“Please, Cam.”

Louis climbed into the car, pointing across the street. “Did you guys know there’s a theater over there? I wonder if they’re doing plays and stuff soon,” Louis wondered aloud. I felt my eyes widen, and I knew if I talked, my voice would be shaky.

Thankfully, Harry was here. “I heard that Peter Pan is showing this week.”

“Peter Pan” Louis cheered. “Let’s go! Please!”

I was about to refuse and come up with a lie about why we couldn’t go. But maybe this was a good idea. I could see the stage, and maybe pick up some tips of the actors on stage. “Sure, Lou,” I agreed. I could see Harry giving me a look through the rearview mirror, but I ignored it. “I’ll go with you.”
