"Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.""
John 13:7 NIVThis chapter will take place when he made his first appearance in One Big Sleepover.
⚽️Danny's POV⚽️
End of the day and I'm excited to get out of the f*cking awful place. I walk towards my locker until I see Jacob walk over to Serena and Becca in my peripheral vision. I grin. Time to be annoying.
"Sleepover, huh?" I hear Jacob ask Serena.
"Nope." She replies. Yeah, like that would keep him away.
"Hmm, but what if I wanted to come over your house again? Your mom is awful nice, it would be a shame if I tell her that you wouldn't let me come over. She'd be so disappointed." Cheeky bastard.
"Fine." She grumbles.
That is my own cue to intervene, "Did I hear sleepover?" I ask.
"Are you fudgin' serious? Where do you people come from?" Her arms are thrown in the air in defeat.
I smile innocently, "What? I just happened to hear you guys' talking about it. Do you not like me anymore, Ser?"
The point of the nickname? To get a reaction out of two specific people. Jacob looks mad as f*ck. My suspicions are confirmed, he likes Serena. Becca, on the other hand, looks crestfallen. Not that I want her sad, but I need to see if she has feelings for me.
When I saw her at lunch on that day, I was shocked. I'm pretty sure she's always been at this school but I've never seen her up close. And now that I have, I feel weird. I want to ignore it but at the same time I don't.
Becca pulls Serena away to talk privately. Then Jacob pulls me to the side as well.
"What the f*ck was that?" He practically growls out.
"What? The nickname?"
"Yes. that."
"I only did that to get a reaction out of Becca." And you. "Don't worry, I won't take your girl away from you." I tease.
"She's not- Ugh!"
"It's okay, dude. I could tell you like her on the first day we met her. You're not one for subtlety."
The girls come back.
"You can come, Danny." She says.
"Sweet." I smirk and wink at Becca before walking away.
This is going to be so much fun. I head for my locker and grab my stuff. Then, heading for the parking lot, I look for Becca.
I find her walking towards her car. Walking quickly, I get to her and grab her waist. She yelps.
"Calm down Becca." I laugh.
"Tell that to yourself when someone touches you unexpectedly." She glares at me.
"Well, anyways, I'm taking you to Serena's house." She smiles but it soon turns upside down.
"My car is here." She says.
"So?" What's the problem?
She sighs heavily, "How about I drive myself home, then when you're ready, you can pick me up there."
I weigh out the options and reluctantly agree, "Fine. Give me your address." She gives it to me and I put it in my phone.
