I wake up to the sun shining through the lilac curtains, causing me to squinch my eyes. The sun seems to be in happy, and desperately wants to share that happiness with me but I'm not in the mood. Not when I have stuff to do, important stuff.
I get dressed into some high wasited shorts and a loose, white blouse with a denim jacket. I don't even know if this outfit is good, this house makes me look incredibly out of style, and it's not even made out of clothes...My morning thoughts are the weirdest I have to say, I'm still half asleep, and let my mind go off to where it pleases.
"CHLOEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" my sister suddenly bursts into the room looking like she just won that big bear she wanted at last year's carnival. Poor child, got beat in a game of "shoot the bottles" by a 9 year old. I spent an hour trying to calm her down, while she was pouring her heart out.
"Yes Rosie, what's causing you to barge into here like this?" I raise an eyebrow at her.
"Alex said we are going....to that...what's it called again?" she mumbles to herself , "Oh yes! The ferris wheely!" she eventually exclaims.
"Who's going?" I question her again.
"Alex, you and I of course, his mom can't go because she has to bake us cookies as she said she does this when she has visitors, I wanted to help Chlo, I really did, but the ferris....." she stopped for a moment trying to figure out what the word was again.
"Wheel" I volunteered.
"Yes!" Rosie practically yelled at me.
I wasn't really looking forward to this...What was he thinking? I'm not swimming in money to be going to fun fairs at the moment.
"Oh morning there Chloe, I heard Rosie already told you..." he emphasises "heard".
"Yes but I am afraid of heights, so you two can go along and let me be" I announce, quickly coming up with an excuse to not go.
"Hm, don't be scared, we'll hold your hands, right Rosie?" he chuckles and Rosie nodded.
I sighed and rollmy eyes. To be honest, whatever, at least I'll take my mind of reality.
They both give me a sly smile and the three of us head out the door.
I make a mental note that it's just one day and I can make it through. Hopefully without any embrassing situations...

Just then I hear the front door slam , causing me to jump up in horror.
Everybody welcome, the blonde, furious girlfriend...
She begins to storm up to Alex, fists clenched tightly. Her eyes could burn a hole through him, and it would manage to reach me aswell, as I am right behind him. I gawk at her, thinking that maybe her intentions are really burning holes with her ocean blue eyes, except, lit on fire.
"You really decided to not run after me last night? After I saw you eating your dinner with that ugly piece of crap behind you? What kind of boyfriend are you? We're done, it's over, bye" she does a sassy hair flip and stares at me with disgust, before turning on her heel and catwalking (literally) outside again.
The four of us, including Alex's mother, who entered the hall with a glass and cloth in her hand a few seconds before, stood there frozen in disbelief.
Did she just...WHAT? He didn't run after her? Okay then, princess. I don't even notice when the tears start to roll down my face, First I stay at someones house just like that and now I'm the reason behind a breakup? It's too much. Alex just stares at me and shakes his head.
"Don't cry, not because of her, just not her" is what I hear him say before I blanch out and darkness surrounds me...
