Chapter 6
~In the Hall~
I was surprised to see Tayabu and Phupujaan (Dad's elder sister). I greet them salam and sit next to Phupu.
"How are you beta? How are the kids?" Tayabu askes me
I smile and tell him we are doing good. After some small talks, I see Muqtadar bhai, Muzzamil bhai and Sadiq bhai entering. I go up to them and greet them with a side hug.
"How is my little sister? Muqtadar bhai askes me while we all take a seat
"I am good alhumdillah. How are you guys? Where is Alina bhabi and Shazia Api?" I ask looking at them
" We are good too and Bhabi and Shazia are with the kids" Muzzamil bhai tells me
"Okay I will go see them" I was about to get up and leave but Taiyabu told me to sit down saying he wants to talk to me.
"Ummm kya hua?" (What happen?) I ask him nervously looking at everyone
"Inayah, you know we want the best for you and the little ones right? And that after your Abbu passed away he told us to take care of you guys?" Phupujaan askes me
"I know Phupujaan and I trust you all...now can you guys please tell me what going on?"
"Okay beta, the day your Ammi Abbu passed away, they had gone to see a boy..." Tayabu pauses to look at my face. I knew Ammi and Abbu wanted me to get married at 19 but I didn't know they went to see a boy for me. I nod telling Tayabu to continue "...I had also went there with them as well as your Phupus. Your parents really liked the boy and the boy's family had seen your photo and approved, we just needed your consent but as you know what happen, we thought it would be better if we waited but me and your phupus think it is better if you get married now." Tayabu announces.
I was shocked a bit. I always want to get married but after Ammi and Abbu's death I had pushed the thought away because my little family is first and I wouldn't wanna leave them no matter what.
"Inayah? Inayah?" Sadiq bhai calls me out
"Hmmm yeah? Sorry" I say "...Tayabu I trust Ammi and Abbu's choice but I would like to met umm..."
"Zaid" Muzzamil bhai says
"Huh?" I asked confused
"That's his name" Muqtadar bhai clarifies
"Yeah I would like to met him first before I agree to this proposal" I tell Tayabu and everyone
"Okay I will call Aarif bhai, Zaid's Dad and ask if Zaid can met you tomorrow? Tayabu tells me
I nod and ask " Sadiq bhai? Can you come along because he is my non-mehram and you are my mehram?"
"Yeah don't worry lil sis I wasn't going to send you alone either way." Sadiq bhai replies with a smile
After the whole talk I go and met up with Alina bhabi and Shazia Api.
"Asalamwalakum my beautiful ladies" I call out as I enter the guest room and see Bilal awake.
"Walaikumsalam" They greet me back
I see Ayza (Alina Bhabi's daughter) in the middle surrounded by my munchkins and go up to hug Alina bhabi and Shazia Api. Since Shazia Api's baby bump was in the middle I gave her a side hug.
"Let's go sit in my room, the kids will be here" Shazia Api said
Me and Alina bhabi nodded and I told Sara to watch the kids and take care of Ayza since we were across the guest room in Shazia Api's room it was okay.
Shazia Api's room
After we all settle down on the bed, Shazia Api decided to break the silent
"How was the talk with the elders?" Shazia Api asked
"You guys knew? And didn't tell me?" I asked them shocked
"We are sorry love but you're bhais told us not to tell you since the elders wanted to talk to you and tell you" Alina bhabi explained
"It's okay I understand...it's just all of a sudden I don't understand what to do?" I tell them
"Have faith in Allah my dear, he is the best of all planner" Shazia Api tells me as she looks at me
"What did you tell them?" Alina Bhabi askes
"I told them I want to met him first and talk to him and then I will tell you guys my decision. They agreed so insha'allah tomorrow me and Sadiq bhai will go and met him" I inform them
"We will support you in every decision of yours Inayah, you know nah?" Shazia Api askes me
I nod and tell her I know
Afterwards we talk about Shazia Api's pregnancy, she found out that it's a boy mashallah and I am really happy for them all.
